1 (6.5 oz) jar pineapple fruit reserves
1 (4 oz) jar prepared horseradish
1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

Steps:

  • Place pineapple fruit preserves in a medium bowl. Blend in prepared horseradish to taste. Place cream cheese on a medium serving dish. Top cream cheese with the pineapple fruit preserves mixture to serve.

An excellent home made sauce to serve with your turkey or ham. You'll never eat that creepy "i can still see the can lines" stuff again!

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1 (12 ounce) bag cranberries (fresh or frozen)
1/2 cup pineapple preserves
3 tablespoons prepared horseradish
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

Steps:

  • Bring the first 3 ingredients to a boil, stirring often, in a saucepan over medium-high heat.
  • Add cranberries.
  • Return mixture to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring often, for 10 minutes or until the cranberry skins begin to pop and mixture begins to thicken. Remove from heat.
  • Stir in pineapple preserves, horseradish and mustard; remove pan from heat and let sauce cool.
  • Cover and chill in fridge until ready to serve.
  • NOTE: Sauce may be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two weeks.

2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/3 cup reserved pineapple juice
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
1 teaspoon fresh garlic, minced
2 1/2 lbs chicken wings, cut up (reserve tips for use in soup)
2 (8 ounce) cans crushed pineapple, drained, reserve juice for marinade
1/2 cup honey
1 tablespoon cornstarch

Steps:

  • in large bowl stir together all marinade ingredients and cut -up chicken wings. marinade at leat 1 hour.
  • heat oven to 425*F.
  • place chicken wings and marinade on jelly roll pan.
  • bake, stirring occasionally for 50 to 60 minutes or until browned and fork tender.
  • in 2 qt saucepan combine all sauce ingredients. cook over med-high heat, stirring occasionally until slightly thickened and heated through.

1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 pork tenderloin (1 pound)
2 sprigs fresh rosemary
1/2 cup pineapple preserves
1 tablespoon prepared horseradish

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425°. Combine salt and pepper; rub over pork. Place in a 13x9-in. baking pan coated with cooking spray. Place one sprig of rosemary under the pork and one on top. Bake, uncovered, 10 minutes., Meanwhile, in a saucepan, heat preserves and horseradish until preserves are melted; stir until blended. Remove top rosemary sprig. Brush pork with 1/4 cup pineapple sauce. Bake 10-20 minutes longer or until thermometer reads 145°. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with remaining sauce.
