Homemade Ruby Red French Salad Dressing image

I love making fresh dressings and I usually have all the ingredients on hand.

1 c olive oil
2/3 c ketchup
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c white vinegar
2 Tbsp finely minced onion
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp dry mustard powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper

Steps:

  • 1. Mix all together and refrigerate

1 cup olive oil
⅔ cup ketchup
½ cup white sugar
½ cup white vinegar
2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Place olive oil, ketchup, sugar, vinegar, onion, lemon juice, mustard, paprika, salt, and black pepper in a jar with a tight-fitting lid; cover and shake until well blended. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours. Shake again before serving.

  • Whisk together the ketchup, oil, sugar, vinegar, onion, garlic, and Italian seasoning. Refrigerate until chilled, about 30 minutes.
