1 16 ounce package bacon
rimmed baking sheet
non-stick aluminum foil
cooling rack*

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil and place the wire cooling rack on top of the baking sheet.
  • Place the bacon evenly in a row careful not to overlap. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until desired crispiness. Remove and set the bacon on a paper towel lined plate.

1 (16 ounce) package bacon

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Place bacon slices one next to the other on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove from oven. Flip bacon slices with kitchen tongs and return to oven. Bake until crispy, 15 to 20 minutes more. Thinner slices will need less time, about 20 minutes total. Drain on a plate lined with paper towels.

Steps:

  • Line rimmed baking sheet with foil. Coat lightly with oil spray.
  • Lay out bacon in a single layer. Put in a cold oven.
  • Turn on to 400°F; Set timer for 17 minutes.
  • When the 17 minutes is up, check every 1-2 minutes until done. It will look slightly undercooked in the oven. Take it out now & it will be perfect - crispy but not hard.

  • 2. sprinkle with black pepper before baking.
  • 3. lightly coat with jerk seasoning before baking.
