Quick, Easy and Delicious-Homemade pizza crust and tomato sauce has never been easier-and this recipe for pepperoni pizza produces a delicious classic!

½ (12 ounce) can CONTADINA® Tomato Paste
1 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed
1 teaspoon dried basil, crushed
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon sugar
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
3 ¼ cups all-purpose flour, or more as needed
2 (.25 ounce) envelopes FLEISCHMANN'S® Pizza Crust Yeast or RapidRise® Yeast
1 tablespoon sugar
1 ½ teaspoons salt
1 ⅓ cups very warm water (120 degrees F to 130 degrees F)
⅓ cup oil
1 (6 ounce) package HORMEL® Pepperoni
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, or more to taste

Steps:

  • For sauce: Combine all sauce ingredients with 1/2 cup water in a medium bowl; set aside for flavors to develop while making crust. Freeze remaining paste .
  • For crusts: Combine 2 cups of flour with the dry yeast, sugar and salt. Add the water and oil and mix until well blended (about 1 minute). Gradually add enough remaining flour slowly, until a soft, sticky dough ball is formed.
  • Knead for about 4 minutes, on a floured surface, until dough is smooth and elastic. Add more flour, if needed. (If using RapidRise® Yeast, let dough rest, covered, for 10 minutes.)
  • Divide dough in half. Pat each half (with floured hands) into a 12-inch greased pizza pan OR roll dough to fit pans.
  • For pizzas: Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Top crusts with sauce, pepperoni and cheese.
  • Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until crusts are browned and cheese is bubbly. For best results, rotate pizza pans between top and bottom oven racks halfway through baking.

1 cup plus 2 tablespoons water (70° to 80°)
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons olive oil
1-1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
3 cups all-purpose flour
2-1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
1 tablespoon cornmeal
TOPPINGS:
1 cup meatless spaghetti sauce
1 to 3 teaspoons sugar, optional
1 package (8 ounces) sliced pepperoni
2 medium tomatoes, chopped
1/2 cup chopped onion
4 cups shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1-1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning

Steps:

  • In bread machine pan, place the first eight ingredients in order suggested by manufacturer. Select dough setting (check dough after 5 minutes of mixing; add 1-2 tablespoons of water or flour if needed). , When cycle is completed, turn dough onto a lightly floured surface. Roll into a 14-in. circle. Sprinkle a greased 14-in. pizza pan with cornmeal. Transfer dough to prepared pan. , Combine spaghetti sauce and sugar if desired; spread over dough. Top with the pepperoni, tomatoes, onion, cheeses and Italian seasoning. , Bake at 400° for 30-35 minutes or until crust is lightly browned. Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting.

8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1/3 cup pizza / marinara sauce
6 oz. mozzarella cheese, grated
6 oz. cheddar cheese, grated
4 oz. pepperoni, sliced

Steps:

  • Soften the cream cheese for 30 minutes on the countertop for easy combining.
  • While the cream cheese softens, prep your ingredients. Shred the cheese, slice the pepperoni into smaller bite-sized pieces so it's easier to eat.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Get out your 9" pie plate (or your glass Pyrex dish) and spray with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.
  • Using a hand mixer, whip the cream cheese, sour cream, oregano and Italian seasoning together.
  • Spread the cream cheese on the bottom of your pie plate using a rubber spatula.
  • Ladle on the pizza sauce evenly over the cream cheese, and spread.
  • Sprinkle about half of the pepperoni over the top of the cream cheese and sauce.
  • Combine the mozzarella and cheddar cheeses and sprinkle them over the pepperoni to create the next layer.
  • Place the remaining pepperoni pieces on the top of the cheese. You could leave some whole pepperonis on top of the dip for visual effect, but I left them off mine since our pepperoni was really large.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until cheese is bubbly, and the pepperoni is cooked.
  • Serve immediately with bread, chips, veggie slices or breadsticks, and enjoy.

1 small onion, diced
1 4-ounce can chopped green chiles
1/2 10-ounce can diced tomatoes with green chiles

1 small jalapeño pepper, diced
1/2 c. sliced pepperoni, chopped
Soft pretzel bites, for serving

Steps:

  • Heat the oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the onion and cook, stirring, until softened, about 5 minutes. Add the canned chiles and tomatoes and bring to a simmer.
  • Reduce the heat and stir in the processed cheese until smooth. Off the heat, stir in the cheddar until melted. Stir in the jalapeño and half the pepperoni. Garnish with the remaining pepperoni. Serve with pretzel bites.

1 small yellow onion, diced
1 red bell pepper, diced
1 yellow bell pepper, diced

One 10-ounce can diced tomatoes with green chiles
One 4.5-ounce can chopped green chiles
8 ounces processed cheese, cubed
4 ounces Cheddar cheese, shredded
4 ounces mozzarella, shredded
4 ounces fontina, shredded
2 ounces Parmesan cheese, grated
Whole milk, as needed
1 teaspoon fresh oregano, torn `
1 small jalapeno pepper, diced
1 cup sliced pepperoni, chopped
2 Roma tomatoes, small dice
2 tablespoons fresh basil leaves, torn
Pizza-flavored chips, for serving

Steps:

  • Heat the oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the onion and peppers and cook, stirring, until softened, about 5 minutes. Add the canned tomatoes and green chiles and bring to a simmer. Reduce the heat and stir in the processed cheese until smooth. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the Cheddar, mozzarella, fontina and Parmesan until melted. If it is too thick, add room temperature milk to thin it out; if milk is needed, add it slowly, stirring in between additions to make sure you achieve the desired consistency.
  • Stir in the oregano, most of the jalapeno (saving a pinch or two for garnish), 3/4 cup of the pepperoni and half of the tomatoes.
  • Transfer the queso to a serving dish. Garnish with the remaining pepperoni, jalapenos, and tomatoes, as well as the basil leaves. Serve with pizza-flavored chips.
