T.G.I. FRIDAY'S® JACK DANIELS® SAUCE
The Jack Daniels® grill glaze is one of the most scrumptious sauces you will ever taste on just about any meat. Introduced in April of 1997, this glaze has become one of Friday's best-selling items. This versatile sweet-and-slightly-spicy sauce can be ordered on salmon, baby back ribs, steak, chicken, pork chops...even on chicken wings.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
- Cut about 1/2-inch from the top of the garlic head. Trim the roots so the garlic sits flat. Remove some of the outer layers of papery skin from the garlic, leaving enough so that the cloves stay together. Put garlic into a small casserole dish or baking dish, drizzle olive oil over it, and cover with a lid or aluminum foil.
- Roast garlic in preheated oven until the cloves are soft, about 1 hour.
- Stir brown sugar, pineapple juice, water, teriyaki sauce, and soy sauce together in a saucepan and bring to a boil; reduce heat to low and keep at simmer.
- Squeeze sides of the garlic until the pasty roasted garlic emerges. Measure 2 teaspoons roasted garlic into the saucepan and incorporate into the sauce with a whisk. Reserve remaining roasted garlic for another use.
- Stir lemon juice, white onion, bourbon whiskey, pineapple, and cayenne pepper into the sauce; bring to a simmer and cook until the volume of the liquid reduces by half and is thick and syrup-like, 40 to 50 minutes.

Steps:
- Put the steaks in a small pan so they fill most of the space.
- Take a fork and stab the steaks on both sides.
- Pour the Worcestershire and the Jack in the pan.
- Let sit in the refrigerator for 8 hours.
- Then cook steaks on the grill.
- Take left over sauce from pan and put in a pour cup.
- After you cook the steaks put them each on a plate. Then pour the sauce on top.

PEPPERED BEEFSTEAKS WITH JACK DANIEL'S SAUCE
Steps:
- Boil shallot, vinegar and 1 1/2 teaspoons pepper in heavy medium saucepan until almost no liquid remains in pan, about 1 minute Add both stocks and boil until reduced to 1/2 cup, about 20 minutes. (Sauce can be prepared 1 day ahead, cover and refrigerate) Place steaks in baking dish. Rub remaining 2 teaspoons pepper and herbs onto both sides of steak. Pour oil over turn to coat. Cover and let stand 1 hour at room temperature. Remove meat from marinade. Heat heavy large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steaks and brown on both sides. Reduce heat to medium and cook to desired doneness, about 3 minutes per side for rare. Transfer steaks to plates Add sauce to skillet and bring to boil. Mix in Jack Daniel's. Spoon sauce over steaks and serve.

This Jack Daniels sauce is a sweet bbq sauce with the warm flavor of Tennessee whiskey.

Steps:
- Combine all the ingredients in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 40-50 minutes, until thickened.
- Refrigerate - Allow the sauce to cool for about 1 hour then transfer it to an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 3 weeks.
- Freeze - Allow the sauce to cool for about 2 hours then transfer it to a freezer-safe container and freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator.

STAGGERING JACK DANIELS® MEATBALLS
When meatballs are gone, you can do shots of the sauce... Gotta admit, I usually cheat on the meatballs and buy 'em pre-cooked, or ya can make yer own. I make several batches of this and keep 'em in the freezer letting them ferment, although cuz of the alcohol content they don't freeze solid, LOL. All ingredients are to taste, no exact measuring is required... How much you make is optional. Be creative and have fun, do a shot.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Spread meatballs in a single layer in a shallow baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven until hot, about 15 minutes.

- Heat the oil in a large heavy-bottomed saucepan over medium heat. Add the onion and stir to coat with the oil. Add the sugar and stir again. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until the onions and sugar begin to darken in color and caramelize, stirring occasionally.

- Let simmer over medium-low heat for about 15 minutes or until thickened. If you want a smooth texture, strain through a fine-mesh strainer. You can also use an immersion blender to blend the sauce. Let the sauce cool for about 10 minutes or until it is warm but no longer “boiling” hot. The sauce will keep, tightly covered, in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
