1 ½ cups uncooked penne pasta
1 (9 ounce) pouch Progresso™ Recipe Starters™ creamy three cheese cooking sauce
1 (12 ounce) ring fully cooked smoked pork sausage, cut into 1/2-inch slices
1 (14.5 ounce) can petite diced tomatoes, well drained
1 cup shredded smoked Cheddar or smoked Gouda cheese

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray 11x7-inch (2-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Cook and drain pasta as directed on package. In large bowl, mix pasta, cooking sauce, sausage, tomatoes and 1/2 cup of the cheese. Spread in baking dish.
  • Cover; bake 20 minutes. Uncover; bake 10 to 15 minutes longer or until hot in center and bubbly around edges, sprinkling with remaining 1/2 cup cheese during last 5 minutes of baking.

1 (12 ounce) package dry penne pasta
2 teaspoons olive oil
1 pound mild Italian sausage
1 cup chopped onion
½ cup white wine
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes with garlic
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
  • Heat oil in a large, deep skillet. Place sausage and onion in the skillet and cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain excess fat. Pour in wine, and cook for 1 minute, stirring, to deglaze the pan. Stir in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes and tomato paste. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Toss with cooked pasta, and place in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle top with mozzarella.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until cheese is melted.

1 pound bulk Italian sausage
1 garlic clove, minced
1 jar (26 ounces) spaghetti sauce
1 package (16 ounces) uncooked penne pasta
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
4 green onions, sliced
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a large skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until meat is no longer pink. Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer. Drain. Stir in spaghetti sauce; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 20 minutes. , Cook pasta according to package directions; drain. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream and onions., In a greased shallow 3-qt. baking dish, layer half of the pasta and sausage mixture. 2 tablespoons olive oil
½ medium onion, finely diced
½ teaspoon red chili flakes
1 clove garlic, minced
14 oz crushed tomato, 1 can
salt, to taste
½ lb penne pasta

Steps:

  • Heat a large sauté pan over medium heat. Add the olive oil and onion, and cook until the onion is translucent, 8-10 minutes.
  • Add the chile flakes and garlic, and cook for another 2 minutes, until fragrant. Stir in tomatoes and simmer uncovered for 20 minutes.
  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Save ½ cup (120 ml) of pasta water, then drain.
  • Add the drained pasta to the sauce. Stir well, adding a little pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce. Season with salt to taste.
  • Enjoy!
