One delicious gin cocktail, with Cointreau, lime juice, and bitters. It's practically a gin margarita.

2 fluid ounces gin
¾ fluid ounce orange-flavored liqueur (such as Cointreau®)
½ fluid ounce fresh lime juice
2 dashes aromatic bitters (such as Angostura®)
lime

Steps:

  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice; add gin, Cointreau®, and lime juice. Shake in bitters. Shake well and strain into a chilled glass. Garnish with a slice of lime.

Lime wedge, for garnish

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake and strain into a martini glass. Serve straight up, garnished with a lime wedge.
