2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
2 cups finely chopped pecans, divided
2 tablespoons finely chopped green onions
2 teaspoons seasoning salt

Steps:

  • Set aside 1 cup of the pecans to roll the logs inches.
  • Mix remaining ingredients (I use a mixer).
  • Refrigerate for several hours.
  • Divide cheese mixture in half, and roll each half into a log (or make 1 huge log).
  • Roll each log in reserved pecans, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate until serving time.
  • Unwrap, place on platter, and serve with crackers.

2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
1 can (8 ounces) crushed pineapple, well drained
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1/2 cup chopped green onions
1 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
2 cups chopped pecans, divided
Assorted crackers

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Stir in the pineapple, green pepper, onions, seasonings and 1/2 cup pecans. Place on a sheet of plastic wrap; shape into a ball. Refrigerate overnight. , Just before serving, roll cheese ball in remaining pecans. Serve with crackers.

This Pineapple Pecan Cheese Ball is an easy appetizer any time of year. The pineapple, pecans, and seasonings in the cream cheese are delicious on crackers!

8 oz cream cheese (softened)
1/4 cup green peppers (finely chopped)
1/4 cup green onions (finely chopped)
8 oz crushed pineapple (drained extremely well)
2 tsp seasoning salt
2 cups chopped pecans

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, peppers, onions, pineapple, seasoning salt, and 1 cup of pecans.
  • Lay out a large sheet of plastic wrap on the counter and scoop mixture onto the plastic wrap. Fold plastic wrap over the mixture and chill in the fridge for at least four hours, or overnight if possible.
  • When completely chilled, shape into a ball and roll in the remaining pecans. Serve with crackers.

1-1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup chopped pecans, toasted, divided
3/4 cup crushed pineapple, drained
1 can (4 ounces) chopped green chilies, drained
2 tablespoons chopped roasted sweet red pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Assorted fresh vegetables

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add the cheddar cheese, 3/4 cup pecans, pineapple, chilies, red pepper and garlic powder; beat until combined. Transfer to a serving dish. 2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1/4 cup mayonnaise
