My mom got this peanut butter dip recipe from a neighbor years ago. She always made it for us kids in the fall when apples were in season. Now I make it for my children. -Juli Meyers, Hinesville, Georgia

1 carton (8 ounces) reduced-fat spreadable cream cheese
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1/4 cup fat-free milk
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup chopped unsalted peanuts
Apple slices

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, beat the first five ingredients until blended. Stir in peanuts. Serve with apple slices. Refrigerate leftovers.

This is an easy finger-food that my family loves. It's the "peanut butter and frosted flakes" version of a rice-krispie treat.

1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup granulated sugar
7 cups frosted flakes (corn flakes aren't nearly as good)
1 cup smooth peanut butter
2 tablespoons margarine

Steps:

  • Bring all, except cereal, to a near boil--be careful not to scorch. Remove from heat and pour over cereal and stir until cereal is coated well. Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper or press into greased 9 x 13 pan and cut into squares after cooled.

4 Kellogg's® Pop-Tarts® toaster pastries, any flavor or Kellogg's® Pop-Tarts® Snak-Stix(TM), any flavor
2 cups milk
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup butterscotch chips
1 cup chunky peanut butter

Steps:

  • 1. Measure milk, sugar, butterscotch chips, and peanut butter into medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until bubbly and well blended. Refrigerate until thoroughly chilled or overnight.2. Just before serving, cut KELLOGG'S POP-TARTS pastries into 1-inch strips. Arrange strips on serving tray or in napkin-lined serving basket. Set aside. Stir dip well before serving.

4 cups Golden Grahams™ cereal
2 cups Cocoa Puffs™ cereal
2 cups thin pretzel sticks (2 1/4 inch)
1 cup candy-coated peanut butter candies
1 cup dry-roasted peanuts
10 oz white chocolate baking bars or squares, chopped
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1/2 cup powdered sugar

Steps:

  • In large bowl, mix cereals, pretzels, peanut butter candies and peanuts; set aside.
  • In 1-quart microwavable bowl, microwave white chocolate and butter uncovered on High about 1 minute, stirring once, until melted and chocolate can be stirred smooth. Pour over cereal mixture, stirring until evenly coated.
  • In large resealable food-storage plastic bag, toss half of the cereal mixture with 1/4 cup of the powdered sugar until evenly coated. Spread on waxed paper to cool. Repeat with remaining cereal mixture and remaining 1/4 cup powdered sugar. Store tightly covered at room temperature.
