A great way to feed bran to the kids. Uses very basic ingredients, and are quick and simple to make.WARNING: These are addictive. Chocolate chips are optional, but I think they make all the difference.

Steps:
- In a bowl, mix the bran with the flour, the salt, the brown sugar, and the baking powder.
- In a separate bowl, blend peanut butter with the milk. Add the eggs and the melted butter. Mix well.
- Incorporate liquids into initial flour preparation. Blend in chocolate chip (if using).
- Pour into muffin tins. Bake at 400F for 15-20 minutes or until a cake tester comes out clean and muffins are golden.

Steps:
- Mix together chocolate chips, milk and butter in a small saucepan. Heat until the chocolate chips have melted.
- Heat the honey in the microwave for 10 seconds. (just to help it work in better)
- Pour honey onto the bran flakes and mix them together. Add craisins and peanuts.
- Stir in chocolate chip mixture.
- Spread into a small pan and put into the freezer for 10-15 minutes.

Let stand about 2 minutes or until cereal is softened. Add peanut butter and egg. Beat well. Stir in flour mixture. Spread batter evenly in greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.3. Bake at 350°F about 1 hour or until done. Cool 10 minutes before removing from pan. Cool completely before slicing.
