BANANA AND PEANUT BUTTER DOG TREATS
While the title says dog treats, these treats can also double as a cake decoration or just human treats. I always have to fight off my younger siblings while making them or else there would be no dough left!

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil.
- Place mashed bananas in a bowl. Add peanut butter and flour and mix until thoroughly combined. If dough feels too sticky to handle, mix in more flour; do not exceed 2 tablespoons.
- Scoop a small amount of dough and place onto a lightly floured surface. Roll dough to an even thickness of your preference, rotating after each roll and adding flour as needed to avoid sticking. Dust cookie cutters lightly in flour. Cut dough into desired shapes and transfer to the prepared cookie sheet. Roll and cut remaining dough.
- Bake in batches in the preheated oven until golden brown and firm, 15 to 20 minutes. Cool on the baking sheet for 1 minute before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.

PEANUT BUTTER, BANANA, AND BACON DOG TREATS
Steps:
- 1. In a medium bowl, mash the banana until smooth. Add the egg and peanut butter and stir until well combined. Stir in 1 tablespoon of the honey, along with the flax seeds, bacon, and oats. Add the flour and stir until evenly combined (the dough will be very thick). Wrap the dough tightly in plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for about 1 hour. 2. Remove dough from the refrigerator and line 2 large baking sheets with parchment paper. 3. Position a rack in the upper third of the oven and a second rack in the lower third then preheat the to 350°F. 4. On a lightly floured surface with a lightly floured rolling pin, roll out the dough to 1/3 inch thickness. Using a cookie cutter, cut out as many biscuits as possible and transfer to the prepared baking sheets, leaving about 1/2 inch between treats. 5. Gather any scraps and kneed them until combined. Reroll the dough and cut out more treats. Repeat until you run out of dough. 6. In a small bowl, whisk the remaining 1 teaspoon of honey with 1 tablespoon of water until the honey is dissolved. Using a pastry brush, lightly brush the tops of the treats with the honey mixture. 7. Bake the treats, switching them between the upper and lower racks about halfway through baking, until they are golden brown, about 20 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack and cool completely.

- Cook 3 (or more) pieces of bacon on a few layers of paper towel in your microwave for ~8 minutes. Remove from the microwave when done and let cool before touching – plate & grease will most likely be super hot!
- Put Oats, Peanut Butter, Eggs, Banana, and Cooked Bacon into a blender/food processor and set to pulse for 2-3 minutes or until all mixed. I blended mine until it became the same consistency as human oatmeal cookies.
- Scoop spoonfuls into your silicone baking sheet and press down to fill the molds. I used this one for the dog Bones & Paws shapes. Optional: If you have some extra pieces of bacon you could sprinkle some bits atop before putting in the oven.
