BANANA SLUSH PUNCH
This is a favorite recipe of my late mother-in-law's family, used for all celebrations.

Steps:
- In a blender, combine bananas, sugar and 3 cups water. Blend until smooth. Pour into a large bowl and stir in pineapple juice. Blend in orange juice concentrate, lemonade concentrate and 3 cups water. Divide into 3 plastic containers and freeze until solid.
- Remove from freezer 3 to 4 hours before serving. Using one portion at a time, place slush in a punch bowl and pour in 1 liter of ginger ale for each.

PEACH SCHNAPPS SLUSH
Try a sugar-free ginger ale or sparkling water to save close to 20 calories per serving. This makes 22 servings at 3/4 cup each.

Steps:
- In a saucepan, mix the sugar and 2 cups water.
- Bring to a boil and boil for 3 minutes.
- Let cool and mix with the next 5 ingredients.
- Put in a plastic container and freeze.
- Before serving, allow to sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.
- Add the ginger ale and serve.

PEACH PUNCH
This peach loaded punch is the perfect summer drink.

Steps:
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, bring the water and sugar to a boil. You want the sugar to be dissolved. Once the mixture boils, remove from heat and let cool.
- Transfer the sugar water to a very large pitcher or a large bowl. Add the lemon juice and the pureed peaches. Mix together then portion into quart or gallon sized freezer safe bags or containers. Freeze.
- When ready to serve remove one of the bags of frozen peach punch from the freezer. Remove from the bag and place in a pitcher or punch bowl. Break the frozen juice into smaller pieces so that it will dissolve in the liquid more readily. Pour sprite or 7 up into the bowl, taste and add more sprite if you'd like.
- I don't have a set amount of soda to use. Just gauge off your taste preferences

MID-SUMMER MADNESS SLUSH OR PUNCH (ALCOHOLIC)
This makes a whole bunch of frozen slush and I must warn you, it packs a punch. Be sure to take away your guest's keys before serving this! I got this from the Best of Bridge and I was inspired to post this by Rita L's Passion Punch recipe (#66869)that I recently made. Although the ingredients are completely different, the slush aspect of it is the same. I remember drinking this on hot summer nights at BBQ's and patio parties. You can scoop out a couple scoops of the slush, put in a glass and add 7 Up, Gingerale or soda water OR once you make it into a slush, pour it into a punch bowl and add the pop to it. Either way, it's yummy, refreshing and you may have to make room for your guests to crash on the couch! Cooking time is freezing time.

- Mix all together in a 1 gallon freezable container or ice cream bucket and freeze until slushy.
- To serve: Scoop 2 parts slush to one part 7 Up, Gingerale or Soda Water OR Scoop slush into a large punch bowl and add 7 Up, Gingerale or Soda Water.
- Garnish with lemons, limes and oranges (or any other fruit you prefer).
- Try putting half the slush into the punch bowl and add one bottle of pop to test your alcohol/mix taste requirements.
- AS a warning, it does not have a strong alcohol taste!
- I prefer using the scoop in the glass method to making it in a punch bowl because like all punches with pop, the pop eventually goes flat.
- This stays in the freezer well and if your guests don't guzzle it all (fat chance on that one!), you can easily serve it again in the near future.

- Bring the sugar, water, and strawberry flavored gelatin to a boil in a large saucepan; boil for 3 minutes. Stir in the pineapple juice, lemon juice, and orange juice. Divide mixture into 2 separate containers and freeze.

- In blender, combine undrained peaches, nectar and concentrate. Cover, blend until smooth. Pour into ice cube trays. Cover, freeze until firm (3-4 hours). To serve, remove ice cubes from trays, place into serving bowl. Let stand 20-30 min to thaw slightly. Add 60 oz wine coolers or 7up (or 30 oz wine coolers and 30 oz 7up). Stir gently to make slush.
