1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix, divided
1 (16 ounce) can sliced peaches in heavy syrup, drained in juice reserved
1 (10.5 ounce) can peaches in light syrup, drained and juice reserved
6 tablespoons cold butter, cut into pieces, or more to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • Spread 1/2 of the yellow cake mix into a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Cut peaches from the larger can into large chunks and layer on top of the cake mix. Sprinkle butter over peach layer. Cover butter layer with remaining cake mix. Pour the reserved juice from both cans over cake mix mixture. Set the peaches from smaller can aside for another use.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until cobbler is lightly browned, 35 to 40 minutes.

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Place peaches in bottom of 9x13 cake pan. Sprinkle dry peach gelatin over peaches. Sprinkle dry cake mix over gelatin. Cut up butter and distribute over cake mix. Pour 1 cup of reserved peach juice and 1/2 cup of water over the top.

2 (15.5 oz cans sliced peaches in heavy syrup
1 (15.5oz. can sliced peaches in heavy syrup, drained
1 (18.25) box yellow cake mix
1 stick butter, cold, sliced into 16 pieces
3/4-1 c brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
1/2 c chopped pecans (optional)

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350'F. Spray bottom of a 9x13" baking pan.
  • 2. Using the juice and peaches of two cans, pour into baking dish. Then drain the liquid from the third can of peaches; using just the peaches. (This added more fruit without using too much liquid.)
  • 3. Cover with the dry (Yes, you heard me right...I said dry.) cake mix and spread evenly over the peaches. Press lightly onto the peaches.
  • 4. Cut butter into small pieces and place on top of the cake mix.
  • 5. Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon over the top. Add chopped pecans, if desired.
  • 6. Bake at 350'F for 40-45 minutes until bubbly and when touched, the cake feels firm.
  • 7. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped topping!

30 ounce peach chunks in light syrup (2 15-oz cans)
15 oz box French Vanilla cake mix
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 teaspoon cinnamon sugar (1/4 teaspoon cinnamon + 3/4 teaspoon sugar)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 F.
  • Drain one of the cans of peaches, reserving the syrup. Empty the peaches into a 13x9 baking pan. Empty the entire contents of the other can of peaches (with syrup) into the 13x9 pan. Spread the peaches out evenly. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar across the top of the peaches.
  • Sprinkle the cake mix on top of the peaches and press down with your hands.
  • Cut butter into 16 pieces and distribute across the top of the cake mix. Pour reserved syrup over the cake mix and run a knife through the mix and the syrup to spread it around a bit.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream, fresh cream or milk.
