GRILLED PEANUT BUTTER AND JELLY SANDWICH
This is peanut butter and jelly with a twist. The kids will thank you for them.

- Heat griddle or skillet to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread. Spread peanut butter on unbuttered side of one slice of bread, and jelly on the other. Place one slice, buttered side down on the griddle. Top with other slice, so that peanut butter and jelly are in the middle. Cook for 4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown, and heated through.

- Combine the peanut butter, mascarpone, honey and vanilla extract in a medium bowl. Using a rubber spatula, mix everything together until smooth and evenly combined.
- Spread 10 slices of pound cake with 1 tablespoon of the peanut butter mixture. Then spread with 1 teaspoon grape jelly. Complete the sandwiches with a second slice of pound cake. Use a 1 1/2-inch fluted round cutter to cut out little finger sandwiches.

- Gather the ingredients.
- Prepare peanut butter sandwich using desired jelly or jam . Make sure it isn't too runny because the sandwich will be heated and jam could leak out.
- Heat a frying pan to melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Tilt pan so butter covers pan evenly. This is key to get a perfectly crispy crust on the bread.
- Butter one side of sandwich. Place buttered-side down in the pan. If possible, place a steak weight or bacon press on sandwich so it cooks evenly. When one side is golden brown, butter other side. Turn sandwich over and place weight back on sandwich. The second side will cook faster because sandwich is already heated.

- Preheat oven to 300°F.
- Mix heavy cream, cinnamon, nutmeg, maple syrup, vanilla, and eggs together and set aside.
- Make sandwiches using bread, peanut butter and jam and soak in above mixture for 30 minutes. Turn the sandwiches over after 15 minutes to allow for even absorbtion of the cream mixture. Take 1 tablespoon of butter and add to hot skillet. When butter is melted add one sandwich. Sauté for 5 minutes on each side. Repeat with rest of sandwiches. Take all sandwiches and place in oven for 5 minutes.
- Place a sandwich on a plate and top with one scoop of ice cream, and dollop of whipped cream. Drizzle chocolate sauce around plate and places strawberries and cherry on top.
