PEANUT BUTTER, BANANA AND BERRY COOKIE PIZZA



Peanut Butter, Banana and Berry Cookie Pizza image

This irresistible fruit pizza is a peanut butter lover's dream come true, with a peanut butter cookie base topped with creamy peanut butter, strawberries and bananas.

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ peanut butter cookie mix
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1 banana, sliced
1 cup sliced fresh strawberries or favorite berries
Miniature chocolate chips, if desired
Powdered sugar, if desired

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F. Using pencil, trace 9-inch circle onto sheet of cooking parchment paper. Place paper pencil side down on cookie sheet.
  • Make cookie mix dough as directed on pouch. Spread dough on parchment paper in even layer, keeping dough within shape of traced circle as best as possible.
  • Bake in center of oven 25 to 30 minutes or until cookie is firm around edge and soft, but just done, in center. Remove from oven to cooling rack. Cool about 15 minutes.
  • Spread peanut butter in even layer on slightly warm cookie. Cool completely.
  • Arrange banana and strawberry slices on top. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and powdered sugar. Cut into wedges to serve.

This is great to take to work and easy to carry, too. Not surprisingly, it's also a big hit with kids (IF they like peanut butter, bananas, and chocolate!)

Yield 1 twelve inch brownie pizza

Number Of Ingredients 8

21 1/2 ounces brownie mix
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup confectioners' sugar
1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
3 bananas, sliced
1/4 cup chopped peanuts
2 semi-sweet chocolate baking squares, melted
1 tablespoon butter

Steps:

  • Prepare brownie mix according to instructions on box.
  • Spread batter evenly on greased, 12-inch pizza pan.
  • Bake 20 minutes at whatever temperature your brand of brownie mix directs.
  • Cool completely on wire rack; DO NOT remove brownie from pan.
  • Mix cream cheese, confectioners sugar and peanut butter with electric blender until smooth.
  • Spread evenly over brownie in pan.
  • Arrange banana slices over cream cheese layer and sprinkle with chopped peanuts.
  • Melt butter in small pan and add chocolate to melt over LOW heat; drizzle over top of brownie.
