SOUTHERN STYLE BANANA PUDDING WITH CHESSMEN COOKIES
Steps:
- In the bowl of a stand mixer, whip chilled cream, sugar and vanilla together until soft peaks form. Measure out 3 cups of whipped cream and refrigerate remaining whipped cream to serve as topping.
- In a small bowl, whisk together pudding mix and two cups of milk.
- Rinse the bowl of the stand mixer and using paddle attachment, beat together softened cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
- Add pudding to stand mixer and continue to stir until combined.
- Then, gently fold in 3 cups of homemade whipped cream.
- To assemble banana pudding:
- Line bottom of 9x13 casserole dish with 20 Chessmen cookie.
- Slice bananas and arrange over cookies.
- Spread pudding mixture over bananas.
- Finally arrange another layer of 20 Chessmen cookies on top of pudding mixture.
- Cover and refrigerate for 2-3 hours or until chilled through.
- Serve with additional whipped cream if desired.

- Line the bottom of a 13x9 baking dish with one package of chessmen cookies. Top with sliced bananas.
- In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese with sweetened condensed milk until smooth. Add in pudding mix and milk. Beat for several minutes, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed.
- Fold in cool whip and spread over banana layer.
- Top with remaining package of chessmen cookies. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 4 hours.

NOT YO' MAMMAS BANANA PUDDING (PAULA DEEN BANANA PUDDING RECIPE)
Steps:
- Using a 9 x 13 pan layer the bottom of the pan with one bag of cookies (use any broken ones for the bottom).
- Layer the sliced bananas over the top of the cookies.
- In a large bowl combine the milk and pudding mix using an electric mixer, about 5 minutes until it starts to get thick.
- In another large bowl combine the cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk with the mixer until smooth.
- Fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture.
- Add the cream cheese mixture to the pudding mixture and stir until well blended or you could use the mixer you were already using!
- Pour the mixture over the cookies and bananas.
- Place the remaining cookies on top of this mixture.
- Carefully cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate at least 4 hours until ready to serve. Can be made the day before and refrigerated overnight.
