1/2 cup powdered sugar
8 limes, quartered
8 passionfruit, flesh and seeds
16 ounces cachaca (sugar cane liquor from Brazil)
Ice cubes
Club soda
Lime wedges for garnish

Steps:

  • In a pitcher, combine powdered sugar, limes, passionfruit, and cachaca. Muddle all ingredients together. Add ice. Strain into rocks glasses over fresh ice, topping with a little club soda. Serve garnished with lime wedges.

  • Add lime wedges and sugar to an 8-ounce short glass and muddle by pounding and pressing with a wooden spoon until sugar is dissolved.
  • Fill glass with ice and add passion-fruit juice and cachaca, then stir well.

1/2 medium passion fruit
2 tablespoons sugar
Crushed ice
2 ounces cachaca
Sugar cane stick, for garnish

Steps:

  • Scoop out flesh and seeds of passion fruit and transfer to a mixing glass or cocktail shaker along with sugar, and cachaca.
  • Shake over ice and pour into an 8-ounce glass. Garnish with sugar cane stick.
