PARMESAN GARLIC BUBBLE BREAD



Parmesan Garlic Bubble Bread image

Refrigerated biscuit dough is cut into bite sized pieces, coated in butter, garlic and Parmesan cheese, and baked to golden brown perfection in this easy to make bread that's perfect for a crowd.

1/2 cup butter, divided
3-4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3 (16.3 oz.) cans Grands refrigerated biscuits
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a large sheet pan.
  • In a microwave save bowl or glass measuring cup, melt 1/4 cup of the butter. Stir in garlic, garlic salt, Italian seasoning and pepper.
  • Cut each biscuit into 4 pieces. Roll each piece into a ball and arrange biscuit pieces in prepared pan, about 1/4 inch apart. Brush biscuits with butter mixture. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown. Melt remaining butter and brush over warm bread, if desired. Sprinkle with fresh parsley.

Homemade bread can be time-consuming, difficult and tricky to make. But this fun-to-eat monkey bread, baked in a fluted tube pan, is easy and almost foolproof. If I'm serving it for breakfast, I add some cinnamon and drizzle it with icing. —Pat Stevens, Granbury, Texas

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 package (1/4 ounce) active dry yeast
1 cup warm water (110° to 115°)
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup shortening
1 large egg, room temperature
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 to 4-1/2 cups all-purpose flour, divided
6 tablespoons butter, melted

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Add the sugar, shortening, egg, salt and 1 cup of flour. Beat until smooth. Stir in enough remaining flour to form a soft dough. , Turn onto a floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic, 6-8 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease top. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour., Punch dough down. Turn onto a lightly floured surface; shape into 1-1/2-in. balls. Dip the balls in butter and arrange evenly in a greased 9-in. fluted tube pan. Drizzle with remaining butter. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 45 minutes., Bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown. Cool for 5 minutes before inverting onto a serving platter. Serve warm.

1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup finely chopped sweet onion
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 loaf (1 pound) frozen bread dough, thawed
Marinara sauce, warmed, optional

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375°. In a small bowl, mix the first 5 ingredients., Divide dough into 24 pieces. Dip each piece in onion mixture; place in a 10-in. fluted tube pan coated with cooking spray. Cover; let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour. , Bake until golden brown, 20-25 minutes. Cool in pan 5 minutes before inverting onto a serving plate. If desired, serve with marinara sauce.

1 package (1/4 ounce) active dry yeast
1/4 cup warm water (110° to 115°)
1 cup warm 2% milk (110° to 115°)
1/3 cup butter, melted
1/4 cup sugar
1 large egg, room temperature
1 large egg yolk, room temperature
1/2 teaspoon salt
5 cups all-purpose flour
TOPPING:
2/3 cup maple syrup
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3 tablespoons butter, melted

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Add the milk, butter, sugar, egg, egg yolk, salt and 3 cups flour. Beat on medium speed for 3 minutes. Stir in enough remaining flour to form a firm dough., Turn onto a floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic, 6-8 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease the top. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour., In a small saucepan, combine syrup and butter. Bring to a boil. Cook and stir for 3 minutes; set aside., Punch dough down. Turn onto a lightly floured surface; divide into 20 pieces. Shape each into a roll. In a shallow bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon. Place melted butter in a separate shallow bowl. Dip buns in butter, then coat in brown sugar mixture., Place 8 rolls in a greased 10-in. fluted tube pan; drizzle with 1/3 cup syrup. Top with remaining rolls, syrup and brown sugar mixture.
