RAINBOW TOAST

Rainbow Toast image

This is a recipe I use in my preschool classroom-- always a big hit! I have included a no-cook version as well.

Provided by SuzV2796

Categories     Low Cholesterol

Time 7m

Yield 1 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 slice bread (white or lightest brown works best)
milk, as needed
food coloring, as needed
cinnamon sugar

Steps:

  • In small bowls or mugs, combine the milk and food coloring to make desired colors. Set aside.
  • For each serving, use clean paint brushes or cotton swabs to "paint" a design onto the bread with the colored milk. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and toast in a preheated oven (350 degrees) or toaster oven until lightly browned.
  • For a no-cook version, substitute the milk with sweetened condensed milk and omit the cinnamon sugar.
