OVERNIGHT POTATO KUGEL
Make this overnight potato kugel with 6 to 8 potatoes, onion, egg, & oil. Let it cook at 400 for an hour and then at 200 overnight. Perfect for Shabbos day.

- Grate potatoes and drain well. Place in a large bowl along with onion, flour, eggs and seasoning. Mix well Heat oil in a casserole in a 400°F oven (or spray the pan with nonstick spray) Pour in batter and sprinkle a little oil on top (you can also spray the top) Bake for 1 hour, until nicely browned. Cover it well with foil, reduce the oven temperature to 250°F (you can even reduce it to 200°F) and let it bake all day.

- Place meat at the bottom of a 9 x13 inch pan. In a food processor, grate onion and potato. Pour into a bowl and mix in eggs. Add salt and pepper to taste and pour over the meat. Bake for 1 hour and a half at 350 and remove from oven. (You are only partial cooking don't eat it) Before Shabbat add one cup of water or if you have chicken soup boiling for Shabbat use some of the soup. (Just boosts the flavor) Place a piece of parchment papers over the kugel, them some heavy duty aluminum foil over that and cover well. Place in a 200 degree oven right before Shabbat. OLD FASHIONED POTATO KUGEL
I got this recipe from a British grandmother. It is hands-down the best potato kugel my family (and most of my guests) ever tasted. It's fabulous served hot with sour cream. It's also incredible put in a cholent overnight.

- Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch pan with 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.
- Combine the potatoes and onions in a large bowl. Mix in the eggs, 1/3 cup of vegetable oil, salt, and pepper. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven until the top is golden brown and crisp, 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
