CHEESY POTATO CASSEROLE FROM ORE-IDA®
Comfort food at its best, this creamy, cheesy casserole with lots of shredded hash browns works either as a main dish or hearty side.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat 13x9 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, whisk together soup, sour cream, salt and pepper. Stir in cheese, onion and hash browns until well mixed. Spoon evenly into baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, mix together cereal and butter. Sprinkle evenly on top of hash brown mixture.
- Bake uncovered for 45 to 50 minutes, or until hot and bubbly. Allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving. Season with additional salt and pepper to taste if desired. Garnish with additional sliced green onion if desired.

DUMP-AND-BAKE HASH BROWN BREAKFAST CASSEROLE
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk or stir together shredded cheese, 1/2 cup of the melted butter, sour cream, pepper and condensed soup.
- Fold in the thawed shredded potatoes. Transfer potato mixture to the prepared baking dish.
- Next, prepare the topping for the casserole by combining the crushed Corn Flakes with the remaining 2 tablespoons of melted butter in a small bowl until the cereal is coated. Sprinkle on top of the potato mixture in the baking dish.
- Bake, uncovered, for 40-45 minutes (or until heated through and topping is browned).

This is Ore-Ida's amazing recipe found on their website. One of my best friend's mothers always brought this to tailgate parties. It was perfect for those cold football mornings!

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat 13x9 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, combine hash browns, 1/2 cup melted butter, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, chopped onion, Cheddar cheese, salt and pepper. Place mixture in a 3 quart casserole dish.
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, saute cornflakes in 1/4 cup melted butter, and sprinkle the mixture over the top of the casserole.
- Bake covered in preheated oven for 40 minutes.
