A quick, simple and delicious treat. Sometimes I top it off with some orange zest for color. Don't laugh...it's simple, but delicious and quick and I've never found any one who didn't rave about it!

Steps:
- Place doughnut in an attractive serving bowl. Top with a generous scoop of ice cream. Spoon marmalade over ice cream, and pour liqueur on top. Top with whipped cream and enjoy.

I got this recipe from a friend at my wedding shower. It is a very light dish. It can be used as a salad or a dessert.

Steps:
- Mix together crackers, butter and sugar.
- Press in a 13x9-inch baking dish. (Save a little bit of the crumbs for top).
- Refrigerate this while making rest of recipe so it becomes firm.
- Fold the rest of ingredients together.
- Spread over crumbs in dish.
- Top with remaining crumbs.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve.

- Beat the egg yolks with 3/4 cup of sugar until white. Add the juice and rind of the orange, ground almonds , breadcrumbs and finally the beaten whites with the remaining sugar. - The cream needs to be mixed very well. Place the first layer in an oven dish, cover it with plenty of cream and arrange thin slices of peeled orange on it. Place the second layer, cover it with oranges again and then distribute the rest of the cream evenly over the surface of the cake.

- Cut off the quarter top of each orange and discard. Make sure your orange will stand up, otherwise cut a small slice off the bottom being careful not to cut through to the pulp. With a grapefruit spoon carefully remove the pulp from the interior of the orange.
- Place hollowed-out oranges on a cookie sheet lined with waxed paper and place in the freezer for at least 30 min. or until rigid.
- Fill the oranges with the sherbet dividing evenly and packing firmly. Freeze again for 30 min. or up to 2 days.
- When ready to serve preheat the oven to 425F. In a stand-up mixer beat the egg whites until frothy and then add the pinch of cream of tartar. Continue beating and gradually add the sugar. Beat for another 3 min. or until the eggs are glossy and thick peaks form. Stir in the almond extract.
