Ingredients

2 oz Florida Bourbon
1/2 oz Orange Simple Syrup
2 Dashes of Angostura Orange Bitters
1 Orange Twist

Steps:

Step 1: Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with a handful of ice.
Step 2: Stir for 20-30 seconds.
Step 3: Place a large ice cube (or 4-5 smaller cubes) into an old fashioned glass and strain mixture over the top.
Step 4: Garnish with a thumb sized orange twist.

Ingredients

1 orange, cut into 6 slices, plus more for garnish
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons syrup from a jar of maraschino cherries
4 shots bourbon (recommended: Bulleit)
4 dashes orange bitters
Sparkling water

Steps:

In a pitcher combine the orange slices, sugar, and cherry syrup. Muddle with a wooden spoon or a muddler, until the sugar is dissolved and the juice is extracted from the oranges. Add the bourbon, and bitters and mix well. Pour into 4 low-ball glasses filled with ice, and top each with sparkling water. Garnish with an orange slice and serve.

2 dashes bitters, such as Angostura
1 strip orange zest
2 ounces whiskey
1 brandied cherry, optional
Orange Swirl Ice Cubes (See Cook's Note)

Steps:

Muddle together the sugar, bitters and orange zest in the bottom of an old fashioned glass. Pour over the whiskey and add the cherry, if using. Top with some Orange Swirl Ice Cubes.
