CREAMY ORANGE CAKE
Cool and refreshing like the orange cream frozen treat. Great for picnics, travels well.

Steps:
- Prepare and bake cake mix according to package directions for a 9x13 inch pan. Poke holes in cake while still hot with the round handle of a wooden spoon.
- In a medium bowl, make gelatin with only 1 cup of boiling water. Pour liquid gelatin over cake while hot. Cool cake completely.
- In a medium bowl, make vanilla instant pudding with only 1 cup of milk. Stir in vanilla and orange extract. Fold in whipped topping. Spread evenly over cake. Refrigerate cake for 1 hour before serving.

ORANGE GLAZED JELLO CAKE
One of my grandmothers ( I call her Nanny) recipes. If you like orange cake you will love this one! Has an orange glaze over top instead of an icing! Delicious!!!

Steps:
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Dissolve jello in the hot water; let cool, but not thicken.
- Mix together cake mix, oil, orange flavoring, 3 eggs. Add the orange jello mixture. Mix well.
- Pour into sprayed 9 X 13 inch cake pan and bake at 350 degrees 25-30 minutes or until done.
- While cake is baking, combine 2 cups of powdered sugar and enough orange juice to form a glaze. (I'd say 1-3 tablespoons of orange juice). Just make sure you add it slowly!
- Pour glaze over cake after removing from the oven.

- Bake cake mix in a 9x13 pan according to package directions. While cake is still warm, poke holes in the top of the cake using the handle of a wooden spoon. You could use a fork, but I like nice, big holes for the pudding to fill up. Mix Jello with boiling water until completely dissolved and pour over cake. Allow cake to cool completely. Mix pudding and milk and pour over the top of cooled cake. Chill for several hours -- overnight is best. Before serving, frost with Cool Whip.

I was told that if you make this cake...eat one piece then run and run fast to your neighbors house with it..otherwise you will eat the whole thing yourself!! - 1. Preheat oven to 325. Generously grease and flour bundt pan, set aside.
- 2. Add all the cake ingredients as listed above, mix on medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour batter into baking dish. Bake for 1 hour. Watch carefully... everyone's oven may be different, could be less, then again could be more.
- 3. Cool 10 minutes before removing from pan. Meanwhile whisk together powdered sugar, orange juice and orange zest. Place cake on cake plate, prick the cake with a fork..then pour glaze evenly over cake. Allow to cool completely before serving.
- 4. If desired...melt some chocolate and drizzle on top of the cake. and, Or.....serve with a dollop of whipping cream! I love whipped cream, so I want it on everything..LOL!
- 5. TIPS: You can also make this in a 9 x13 pan, if desired to do so. It is important that you grease and flour your bundt pan..this cake is very moist and has a tendency to stick if not greased properly. If making in a 9 x 13 pan you don't have to remove the cake, poke holes just as above and pour glaze over the top.

- Bake cake as needed in 9x13-inch pan.
- When baked and cooled, poke holes all over cake with meat fork.
- Mix large box of Jello with the waters and just let it start to set up.
- Slowly pour over the cooled cake and allow to run into holes all over cake.
- Chill cake until Jello is set.
- In large bowl, cream the cheese until creamy.
- Add the dry Jello powder, pudding mix, milk and the vanilla extract; beat well.
- Fold in Cool Whip.
- Spread on cake and chill until served.
- Enjoy!

- Set out Cool Whip to thaw.
- Prepare cake mix according to directions for a 9x13 pan,.
- After the cake is done and you bring out of oven, poke holes throughout the cake with a fork.
- Prepare Orange jello with 1 cup of boiling water and pour over the cake.
- Allow to cool in pan for 30 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, mix together with hand mixer (or other) instant vanilla pudding with 1 cup milk.
- Stir in orange and vanilla extracts, mix well.
- Fold in Cool whip Spread over the cake and chill for 2 to 3 hours before serving.

- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Generously spray a 9 x 13 or 9 x 15 glass pan with cooking spray
- 2. Mix all ingredients except those for the glaze until well moistened. Beat two to three minutes at medium speed.
- 3. Bake 40 to 50 minutes
- 4. While cake is baking, prepare glaze by thoroughly mixing the orange juice, powdered sugar and Grand Marnier if desired.
- 5. As soon s cake is removed from oven, prick entire cake with large fork, thrusting through to the bottom. Immediately spoon the glaze over the hot cake.
- 6. (Cake may be frozen) (Can sub in other types of jello, sugar free jello and lemon or lime juice to compliment the flavor you select ~)
