Try this quick way to jazz up refrigerated sweet rolls with marmalade and semisweet chips.

4 tablespoons butter, softened
2 cans (13.9 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Orange Rolls with Orange Icing (8 Count)
1/2 cup orange marmalade
1/4 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips, if desired

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375°F. Using 1 tablespoon of the butter, generously grease 12-cup fluted tube pan. Place remaining butter in small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on HIGH for 30 seconds or until melted; stir.
  • Separate dough into 16 rolls. Cut each in half crosswise. Place half of the roll pieces, cut edge down, in greased pan. Spoon and spread half of marmalade over rolls, avoiding touching sides of pan. Drizzle with half of melted butter. Layer with remaining roll pieces and marmalade. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Drizzle with remaining butter.
  • Bake at 375°F. for 22 to 32 minutes or until rolls are golden brown and dough appears done when slightly pulled apart. Cool in pan for 2 minutes. Invert onto serving platter. Cool 15 minutes.
  • Stir icing to soften. Spread over warm bread. Slice or pull apart bread to serve.

Number Of Ingredients 12

4 teaspoons grated orange zest (about 1 medium orange)
1/3 cup orange juice
Boiling water
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 large egg
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Place orange zest in a small bowl. Pour juice in a measuring cup; add enough boiling water to measure 1 cup. Pour over orange zest; let stand for 10 minutes. , Meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and baking soda. In another bowl, whisk the egg, butter, vanilla and reserved orange mixture. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Fold in chocolate chips. , Pour into a greased 8x4-in. loaf pan. Bake at 350° for 55-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack.

1 cup cocoa powder
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup white flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 cup orange juice
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 tablespoon vanilla
1/2 cup honey
orange zest (optional)

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 325°F.
  • Mix together the cocoa powder, flours, baking soda, salt, and brown sugar.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the eggs.
  • Add the orange juice, oil, vanilla, and honey to the eggs and mix well.
  • Mix the dry ingredients into the second bowl, making sure to crush any clumps of cocoa powder.
  • Zest an orange over the bowl and mix it in .
  • Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and bake it for approximately one hour, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

400 g strong white bread flour (once measured take out 2 tbsp. flour)
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 teaspoon ground mixed spice
1 egg, beaten
125 ml warm water
50 ml orange juice
30 g butter
3 tablespoons light muscovado sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons easy bake yeast (bread maker)
50 g mixed peel
50 g chocolate chips (I used mixture of white and dark chocolate chips)
3 tablespoons sugar
3 tablespoons hot water

Steps:

  • Sift together the flour, cocoa and spice in a bowl.
  • In the bread maker pan, pour in the water, orange juice; add the egg, butter, sugar and salt. Add the spiced flour making sure the water is all covered. Sprinkle yeast over the flour. If your machine recommends that you add the dry ingredients first simply reverse the order that you add them to the pan.
  • Set the Bread Maker to sweet loaf, small loaf and medium crust, at the beep add the mixed peel and chocolate chips.
  • Once the loaf is cooked remove from the pan and glaze with the sugar glaze.

1 large orange, zest of, minced
1/3 cup orange juice
2/3 cup water, boiling
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 large egg
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F & grease an 8"x4" loaf pan.
  • In a small bowl, combine orange zest, orange juice & boiling water & let stand for 10 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, in a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda & salt.
  • In another bowl, beat together the egg, butter & vanilla, then when the OJ mixture is ready, add that to this mixture, before stirring this mixture into the flour mixture just until moistened.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips, then pour into the prepared loaf pan & bake 55-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
  • Cool in the pan on a wire rack for 10 minutes before removing the loaf from the pan & putting it upright on the wire rack.

2 can(s) plain flaky biscuits
1 stick melted butter
3/4 c sugar
1/2 c brown sugar
1/2 c chopped pecans
1 Tbsp cinnamon
2 Tbsp grated orange zest
4 oz cream cheese, cubed into 20 pieces
ORANGE GLAZE
1 c powdered sugar
2 Tbsp orange juice

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350. Spray bundt pan with pam, set aside.
  • 2. Have melted butter in bowl. Mix both sugars, pecans, zest and cinnamon in another medium bowl. Stuff each biscuit with a piece of cream cheese. When all are stuffed, roll in butter and then roll in sugar mixture, placing in bundt pan. If you have any sugar and butter left over, sprinkle over biscuits.
  • 3. Place in oven and bake for 45 min. until golden brown. Remove from oven, and let sit for a few min, while preparing glaze. In bowl, mix powdered sugar and orange juice. Invert bubble bread onto plate and drizzle with glaze. Enjoy!
