- In a large pot over medium-high heat, combine the water, salt, vinegar, and red food coloring. Bring to a boil. Cut the sausage links into halves or thirds, depending on size, and place into a large sterile jar. Pour the hot vinegar mixture in with the sausage, secure the lid, and let stand for 2 days before serving.

My friend brought these to work one morning around the holidays and I think I ate a whole pan by myself. These are so good and so easy to make...great to take to work or for a party. If you love cheese, you will love these! I guessed on the serving size, as it depends on how big you cut the squares.

Steps:
- Spray a 9x13 pan with cooking spray.
- Layer cheese and jalapenos in pan.
- Mix well the eggs, evaporated milk, and flour in a small bowl.
- Pour liquid mixture evenly over the top of cheese/jalapeno layer.
- Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 45 minutes.
- Cool.
- Cut into squares.
- Serve and enjoy!

- Mix water with cocoa (to make hot chocolate).

Steps:
- 1. Mix mustard with water and allow to stand 10 minutes.
- 2. While the mustard is sitting, cook onions in oil until soft and transparent.
- 3. Next mix spices and mustard mixture.
- 4. Then mix in molasses and brown sugar.
- 5. Add lemon juice.
- 6. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, and liquid smoke.
- 7. Lastly stir in tomato paste, sauce, and ketchup.
- 8. Let simmer for 10 minutes. Use immediately or allow to cool and transfer to bottle or jar for storing in the refrigerator.
- 9. Note: You may adjust the ingredients according to your taste. I have added and omitted ingredients at times according to how I wanted to use the sauce and it always turned out very well!

Pour the hot oil into the bowl with the other ingredients and mix well. Pour the batter into the skillet and bake for 35 to 50 minutes. Start checking for doneness after 35 minutes; it should be golden brown when done.
