This is the coffee my dad used to make when he went hunting or camping.

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 quart(s) water
1 cup(s) regular grind coffee
2 large shells from 2 eggs, crushed
1/2 cup(s) cold water
1 - 2 pound coffee can
1 - pair of pliers

Steps:

  • Heat 2 quarts of water over open fire to boiling in a 2 pound coffee can. Dump in coffee grounds and egg shells.Pour in the cold water to settle the grounds. Remove can from direct heat with pliers and let stand 10 minutes. My dad loved coffee made like this-
