1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup crunchy peanut butter
1 cup white sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 large eggs eggs
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 ½ teaspoons baking soda

Steps:

  • Cream butter, peanut butter, and sugars together in a bowl; beat in eggs.
  • In a separate bowl, sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; stir into butter mixture. Put dough in refrigerator for 1 hour.
  • Roll dough into 1 inch balls and put on baking sheets. Flatten each ball with a fork, making a crisscross pattern. Bake in a preheated 375 degrees F oven for about 10 minutes or until cookies begin to brown.

1 cup packed light-brown sugar
1/2 cup (1 stick) softened unsalted butter
1 large egg
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, (spooned and leveled)
1 teaspoon baking powder

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour and baking powder; set aside.
  • In a large bowl, beat peanut butter, sugar, and butter until smooth. Beat in egg. Gradually add flour mixture, beating to combine.
  • Pinch off dough by the tablespoon; roll into balls. Place 2 inches apart on parchment-lined baking sheets. Using a fork, press balls in a crisscross pattern, flattening to a 1/2-inch thickness.
  • Bake cookies, rotating halfway through, until lightly golden, 18 to 22 minutes. Cool cookies on a wire rack.

1/3 cup water
1 1/3 cups creamy peanut butter
1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 egg
2 tablespoons sugar

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375°F (350°F for dark or nonstick cookie sheets). In large bowl, beat half of the cake mix, the water, peanut butter, butter and eggs with electric mixer on medium speed until smooth, or mix with spoon. Stir in remaining cake mix.
  • On ungreased cookie sheet, drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart. Flatten in crisscross pattern with fork dipped in sugar.

1 teaspoon vanilla
1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour

⅓ cup granulated sugar in a small bowl for rolling

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • In a small bowl, stir together the flour, salt, and baking soda; set aside.
  • Using an electric mixer, cream together margarine, the ¾ cup granulated sugar, and brown sugar for 2 to 3 minutes or until light and fluffy. Add the egg and beat just until combined. Add the vanilla and the peanut butter and beat until combined.
  • Add the flour mixture a little at a time until well combined, scraping the sides of the bowl as needed. Chill the dough for 30 minutes before shaping.
  • Shape rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into balls and roll in sugar. Place 2 inches apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet or a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Line 2 large baking sheets with parchment paper. Mix flour, baking powder and salt in medium bowl. Using electric mixer, beat butter, peanut butter and vanilla in large bowl until well blended. Beat in both sugars. Scrape down sides of bowl. Stir half of dry ingredients into mixture.
