OATMEAL BREAD (BREAD MACHINE/BREAD MAKER)
I love this recipe. The oats give it a really good taste, and I use wheat flour for some wheat taste. If you don't enjoy wheat flour, you can use all white flour and it is still delicious. I use my bread maker to make the dough, then form it into a loaf. You don't have to use a bread machine, I've done it by hand; the machine just makes it quicker with kids in the kitchen under my feet. Preparation time includes the bread machine dough cycle, mine is about one hour.

Steps:
- Put ingredient in bread maker in the order listed above. Set to dough cycle. Check to see if a good ball is forming; if needed add a teaspoon of water or flour at a time to get a good dough ball.
- At the end of the dough cycle, form a loaf and put in lightly sprayed bread pan. Cover, and let raise for about 45 minutes to an hour.
- Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes, depending on your oven.
- After removing from oven, lightly spread melted butter on the top crust with pastry brush (optional; gives it a nice look and flavor).

MY FAVORITE MOLASSES OATMEAL BREAD MACHINE BREAD
A hearty nutritious bread from your bread machine. I've been experimenting with many Molasses Oatmeal Bread recipes. By experimentation, I've created my favorite. The foundation for this recipe was from CaramelPie.

Steps:
- Add 1 cup water to measuring cup.
- Crack egg into water.
- Add additional lukewarm water to make 1 1/4 cup.
- Mix egg and water with fork and pour into bread machine pan.
- Add additional ingredients in order in recipe.
- Set bread machine settings to basic white setting with light crust.
- If dough appears too sticky, add a small amount of bread flour to pan. Keep adding until dough leaves side of pan.

- Add all ingredients into your bread machine in the order listed.
- Set machine to "large whole wheat" cycle.
- Allow machine to make your bread.
- When bread is finished remove from loaf pan and baste immediately with melted butter or margarine, be sure to baste all crust surfaces. This will ensure a soft crust and help keep your bread from drying out.

OUTSTANDING OATMEAL BREAD FOR BREAD MACHINE
Really really good bread right out of you bread machine.Crunchy!!! I have been using the bread machine and baking it in the oven with great success. Try 1/2 white and 1/2 whole wheat flour for and even better flavour.

Steps:
- Add the water,butter,honey in the bread machine.
- Add dry milk, salt and flour.
- Add yeast in a groove on top of the flour.
- You can make the bread on the White bread cycle or on the Dough cycle.
- When the Beep comes on; add Oatmeal.
- If you chose the dough cycle remove and shape into one loaf or 2 smaller ones.
- Sprinkle a bit of oatmeal on top.
- Preheat oven 375*.
- Let rise app 40 minutes.
- Lower heat to 350* and bake at app 30 minutes.
- Optional; use 1/2 whole wheat flour.
- SUCCESS HINTS: For added texture, add the oats after the first knead or at the beep on the fruit and nut cycle.
- For additional crunch, sprinkle a few oats on top of the loaf after the final rise.
- When you are baking it in the machine and you see it rising to the top while it is baking, use a needle to make a few tiny holes to punch it slowly down and it avoids having it ruin the top of the bread.
- Instant oatmeal doesn't work, but quick-cooking oats do.
