Steps:
- Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan and gently fry the onion for 5 mins until soft. Add the garlic and cook for 1 min. Add the oats and fry for 2 mins more. Tip into a bowl and set aside to cool.
- Add the rest of the ingredients to the cooled mixture and mix well with your hands. Season to taste and shape into 8 patties.
- Heat oven to 200C/fan 180C/gas 6. Heat the remaining olive oil in a large, non-stick frying pan and sear the burgers on each side until well coloured (3-4 mins). Transfer to a baking sheet and cook in the oven for 10-15 mins. Serve in rolls with Tangy tomato chutney (see 'goes well with') and cucumber slices.
- For the chutney heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a pan and add 1 finely chopped onion. Cook for 5 mins until softened. Stir in 1 crushed garlic clove and cook for a further min. Add 1 tbsp sundried tomato paste, a 400g can good-quality chopped tomatoes and a pinch of sugar. Gently cook for 20-25 mins until rich and thick. Season to taste, then leave to cool before serving.

I've served these meatless burgers many times to guest. My guest were always surprised to find out they're meatless. I serve them, like you'd serve meatloaf. They're great with mashed potatoes

Steps:
- Mix oatmeal salt, and sage. Add onion and eggs. Drop by large spoonfuls onto a hot non-stick skillet sprayed with cooking spray.
- Brown on both sides.
- Mix soup and water, pour over burgers. Cover, simmer on low for 20 minutes.

Steps:
- In a medium skillet, mix the onion, carrot, celery and zucchini with the 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil. Sauté over medium heat until onion is clear. Remove from heat and add the brown rice, oats and seasonings. Mix well and add the tofu, With a fork, mash the tofu into fine pieces and mix well.
- In a small bowl, combine all the liquid ingredients and stir to mix. Pour over the rice mixture and stir until moistened and evenly mixed. Shape into 8 evenly-sized patties approximately 3 1/2 to 4 inches in diameter. Dredge each patty with bread crumbs, making sure to coat both sides.
- Place the patties on a baking sheet that has been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray, then spray the tops of each patty.
- Bake in a 375 degree oven for 15 minutes. Turn the patties over, spray the tops with the cooking spray and bake another 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and let them sit for 5 minutes.
- Serve with buns or by themselves with mashed potatoes and gravy. Enjoy!

- Coarsely chop garlic; sprinkle with salt and mash to a paste with the side of the knife. Coarsely chop walnuts in a food processor. Add bread, marjoram, pepper and the garlic paste; process until coarse crumbs form. Add lentils and Worcestershire; process until the mixture just comes together in a mass. Form into four 3-inch patties (about 1/3 cup each).
- Heat 2 teaspoons oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties until browned on the bottom, 2 to 4 minutes. Carefully turn over; reduce heat to medium-low. Drizzle the remaining 1 teaspoon oil around the burgers and cook until browned on the other side and heated through, 4 to 6 minutes more. Serve on buns with lettuce, tomato (or red pepper) and onion.
