MOIST CHOCOLATE CHIP DATE CAKE
"I remember begging my mother to make this moist cake back in the '50s," says Kathy Frees from Fergus Falls, Minnesota. "Instead of sticky frosting, it's covered with sugar and nuts and is a wonderful treat to take along on picnics."

CHOCOLATE CHIP DATE NUT CAKE
This is an old recipe that I can remember showing up at every picnic! As a kid I never appreciated this cake. I wanted gobs of sweet frosting on a cake! Now I love this cake and will make it for Jim and I when we go fishing or just because we like it!
