3 tablespoons butter
1 bag (10 oz) marshmallows
5 cups Cheerios™ cereal
Assorted sanding sugars or sprinkles (about 1/2 cup total)
1 pouch (7 oz) Betty Crocker™ Decorating Cookie Icing white icing
Assorted candy eyeballs

Steps:

  • In large microwavable bowl, microwave butter and marshmallows uncovered on High about 2 minutes, stirring after each minute, until mixture is smooth. Remove from microwave.
  • Immediately stir in cereal until evenly coated. Let stand about 5 minutes or until cool enough to handle.
  • Meanwhile, pour sanding sugars or sprinkles into small bowls.
  • Lightly spray hands with cooking spray (to prevent sticking). Using about 1/4 cupful cereal mixture for each, firmly press into 18 (about 2-inch) balls; roll each ball in sanding sugars or sprinkles. Place balls on waxed paper.
  • With cookie icing, attach 3 eyeballs to each cereal ball.

1/2 cup sweetened dried cranberries
1/2 cup dried banana chips
1/2 cup salted roasted whole almonds
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Line tray with cooking parchment paper. In food processor, place all ingredients. Cover and process in 1-second bursts until finely chopped, about 15 to 20 bursts; then process until well blended and mixture comes together. Transfer to medium bowl.
  • Coat hands lightly with water; use hands to blend mixture completely. Scoop out by measuring tablespoonfuls, and shape each portion into a ball; place on tray.
  • Refrigerate about 1 hour or until firm. Store in tightly covered container in refrigerator up to 3 days.

1 cup Cheerios cereal, lightly rolled and broken (I put mine in a zippered plastic bag and used the peanut butter jar to lightly pound on them)
1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
1/3 cup honey
1/3 cup raisins
5 ounces mini M&M's candies
2 tablespoons sesame seeds, divided

Steps:

  • Add all the ingredients (reserve 1 tablespoon of the sesame seeds as garnish) to a bowl and stir to combine.
  • Refrigerate for about 30 minutes. Remove from the refrigerator and roll into 2-inch balls. Sprinkle the balls with the sesame seeds and serve.

  • Use a spoon to scoop about a tablespoon of the cookie ball mixture into your hand. Roll into a ball. Repeat with remaining mixture. This should make about 12 oatmeal energy balls.
  • Store the balls covered in the fridge for up to a week, or in the freezer for much longer.
  • In a medium bowl, add the peeled banana and mash thoroughly with a fork.
  • Add the dry oats and chocolate chips and stir to combine.
  • Refrigerate until the mixture holds together, about 30 minutes.
  • Use a spoon to scoop about a tablespoon of the cookie ball mixture into your hand. Roll into a ball. Repeat with remaining mixture. This should make about 12 oatmeal energy balls.
  • Store the balls covered in the fridge for up to a week, or in the freezer for much longer.

1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup flour
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups old fashioned oats
3/4 cup mini M&M's
1 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
3 Tbls heavy cream
1/4 cup mini M&M's

Steps:

  • Line a 9 inch baking dish with foil or parchment paper.
  • Combine butter, sugar, and brown sugar together in a large bowl. Mix at medium speed until combined. Add peanut butter and mix until well blended.
  • Stir in flour (see notes for eating raw flour) and vanilla; mixing until just incorporated. Slowly add oats, 1 cup at a time. Fold in M&M's. Press into prepared pan.
  • In a microwave safe bowl melt together chocolate and heavy cream, in 30 second increments. Once smooth, pour over cookie dough mixture. Sprinkle with remaining M&M's.
  • Refrigerate for 1-2 hours, or until chocolate is completely set up before serving.
