NINJA FOODI BABY POTATOES



Ninja Foodi Baby Potatoes image

Easy baby potatoes that dress up any meal.

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 lb Baby potatoes (Can substitute small or halved red potatoes. If using fingerling potatoes cut cook time.)
1 cup Water
4 tbsp Butter
Garlic Salt to taste (Substitue any other seasoning of your choice)

Steps:

  • Wash potatoes.
  • Place potatoes and water in the Ninja Foodi and cover with the pressure cooking lid.
  • Turn on the Foodi and select Pressure. Set the pressure setting to high and the time to 10 minutes. Adjust for more or lESS potatoes.
  • When cooking is complete release the pressure. Drain the water.
  • Add butter to the potatoes and mix gently to compeletly coat the potatoes. Add the garlic salt and mix again.
  • Serve immediately.

Roasted potatoes happen to be my favorite side dishes because they are so simple to make, but throughout the summer months, I just can't stand cooking with my traditional kitchen oven.

2 lbs. Baby red potatoes, ¼ cut into
2 Tbsp. olive oil
¼ C. dried onion flakes
1 tsp. dried rosemary
½ tsp. onion powder
½ tsp. garlic powder
¼ tsp. celery celery
¼ tsp. freshly ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Put in the Crisper Basket and shut the lid. Choose AIR CRISP, set the temperature to 390°F, and set the time to 20 minutes. Select START/STOP to start Ninja Foodi preheating.
  • In the meantime, Place all the ingredients in a large bowl and mix until evenly coated.
  • After the Ninja unit beeps to let you know it has preheated, Place the potatoes to the Crisper Basket. Shut the lid and cook for 10 minutes.
  • After 10 minutes of cooking shake the crisper basket well. Put the basket back in the Ninja unit and shut the lid to continue cooking.
  • After 10 minutes, stop and check for sought after crispness. Resume cooking up to 5 additional minutes, if needed.

▢ 1 lb Dutch Yellow Potatoes (approx. 3 1/2 cups)
▢ 1 1/2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
▢ 1/2 tsp salt
▢ 1/2 tsp pepper
▢ 1 tbsp lemon juice optional
▢ 2 tbsp fresh dill chopped

Steps:

  • Cut the potatoes into 1 inch bite sizec equal pieces and place into a mixing bowl. There is no need to peel, as the skin is thin and will get crispy.
  • Drizzle olive oil onto the potatoes and toss until each piece is coated.
  • Add all additional ingredients into the bowl and toss again until the ingredients are well distributed and cover the potato chunks.
  • Place onto a baking sheet or your air fryer tray and place into your Ninja Foodi.
  • Preheat, on the roast setting, to 425 degrees F and roast for 15 minutes.
  • Remove the tray from the Ninja Foodi and flip the potatoes using a spatula so the opposite side is facing up. Roast again for another 10 minutes.
  • Remove and allow to cool for 5 minutes. Option to top with another tsp of lemon juice or more fresh dill.

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Combine potatoes, olive oil, garlic, rosemary, sea salt, and pepper in a bowl. Toss until potatoes are covered and garlic is evenly distributed. Transfer to a rimmed baking sheet.
  • Bake on the bottom rack of the preheated oven, shaking every 5 minutes to prevent burning, until fork-tender, about 20 minutes.
