10 INCREDIBLY EASY COOKIES TO SHARE WITH NEIGHBORS

From therestfulhome.com

  • Cake Mix Snickerdoodles. I made these incredibly easy cookies last year as part of my cookie plates and they were quite the hit with one older gentleman in particular. 🙂
  • Three-Ingredient Gluten-Free Peanut Butter Cookies. This recipe for the easiest cookies ever gets bonus marks for being gluten-free. Our next-door neighbor has celiac disease, so if he’s not allergic to peanut butter, I want to make these for him.
  • Blonde Brownies (Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars) I like to make some bar cookies to mix in my cookie plates. They don’t look like perfect cookies, but they’re usually very moist and they’re so much faster to bake because you just make a big pan and then cut them into squares.
  • Slice and Bake Easy Cookies. What attracted me to this recipe was the sheer number of possible variations on it. It takes a little more time to mix together than, say, the 3 ingredient peanut butter cookies.
  • Easy 5-Ingredient Chocolate Chip Cookies. These might not measure up to your very favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe, but when you’re pressed for time, these will work just fine as delicious yet easy cookies.

  • Fudge. This three-ingredient fudge recipe is unbelievably easy, and you can add different mix-ins or toppings to make it special. Add peppermint extract and smashed candy canes, red and green M&Ms, toffee pieces or crushed nuts to add your own spin to the recipe.
  • Granola. This basic homemade granola will stand out among the sea of cookies and cakes. It uses only natural sweeteners and makes for a healthier option to snack on and even eat for breakfast.
  • Spice rub. This may not be a common neighbor gift, but it’s great because it’ll be of use all year long. This dry rub goes well on anything savory, whether it’s chicken, pork, steak or potatoes.
  • Peppermint bark. This three-ingredient peppermint bark is incredibly easy but looks and tastes delicious. This is a fun treat to make yourself or with kids.
  • Caramels. These may seem intimidating, but they’re actually pretty easy if you have a candy thermometer (and if you don’t, you can buy one for less than $20).
