1 tb Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 md Red onion; finely diced
1 c Garlic; finely diced
1/4 c Ketchup
1 ts Cayenne
1 tb Pasilla chile powder
2 tb Dark; (1/2 pint) whipped
2 tb Dijon mustard
2 tb Unsalted butter
6 Plum tomatoes; coarsely
1 tb Honey

Steps:

  • In a medium sauce pan over medium heat, heat the butter and sweat the onion and garlic until translucent. Add the tomatoes and simmer for 15 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients and simmer for 20 minutes. Puree the mixture in a food processor, pour into a bowl, and allow to cool at room temperature. This sauce will keep for 1 week in the refrigerator or several months frozen. 2 Tbsp unsalted butter
1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 clove garlic minced
6 medium plun tomatoes coarsely chopped
1/4 c ketchup
2 Tbsp dijon mustard
2 Tbsp dark brown sugar
1 Tbsp honey
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp ancho chile powder or one ancho chile
1 tsp chile powder
1 Tbsp paprika
1 Tbsp worcestershire sauce

Steps:

  • 1. In a Large saucepan over medium heat ,heat the butter and sweat the onion and garlic until translucent.
  • 2. Add the tomatoes and simmer for 15 minutes add remaining ingredients and simmer for 20 minutes.
  • 3. Puree the mixture in the food processor pour into a bowl and let cool at room temperature.
