Easy,no-fail buttery nutty blondies. Rich and chewy, perfect for your sweet tooth cravings.

1/2 CUP BUTTER (UNSALTED)
1 1/2 CUP LIGHT BROWN SUGAR (FIRMLY PACKED)
2 EGGS
1 TSP VANILLA
1 1/2 CUP ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR
1/2 TSP SALT
1 TSP BAKING POWDER
1 CUP TOASTED NUTS (WALNUTS, PECANS, ETC.)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Butter or spray non-stick spray in an 8x8 pan.
  • Line the pan with parchment paper for easy removal.
  • If using toasted nuts, spread nuts on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for5 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  • Combine flour, salt, and baking powder in a bowl and set aside.
  • Combine melted butter and brown sugar and stir until well blended about 1 minute.
  • Add eggs, one at a time and stir well after each addition.
  • Add vanilla and mix.
  • Fold in nuts.
  • Spread the batter in pan and bake for 40-45 minutes or until inserted toothpick comes out clean.

⅓ cup brown sugar
⅔ cup milk
1 egg
½ cup butterscotch chips
¼ cup chocolate chips
¼ cup chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
  • Stir cake mix and brown sugar together in a large bowl. Mix in milk and egg until well blended. Fold in butterscotch chips, chocolate chips, and walnuts. Spread dough evenly in the prepared baking pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until edges start to pull away from the sides of the pan, 25 to 30 minutes.

1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 cup chopped walnuts
½ cup melted butter
3 eggs

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.

1 cup all-purpose flour
⅛ teaspoon baking powder
⅛ teaspoon salt
½ cup butter
1 cup brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
½ cup chopped walnuts
½ cup semisweet chocolate
1 teaspoon powdered sugar, or to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease an 11x7-inch baking dish.
  • Sift flour, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl. Set aside.
  • Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat, swirling constantly until golden brown, bubbling, and fragrant, 3 to 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool for 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Beat brown butter and brown sugar in a bowl with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla extract. 170 grams unsalted butter
100 grams walnuts
55 grams pecans
272 grams all-purpose flour
6 grams baking powder
3 grams kosher salt
55 grams almond butter
346 grams dark brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 large egg yolk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Crank the oven to 350ºF. Coat the insides of an 8-inch square baking pan with non-stick cooking spray and line with a sling of parchment paper.
  • Melt the butter in an 8-inch sauté pan over medium heat. When it's done bubbling, add the walnuts and pecans and cook until the nuts are toasted and the butter smells nutty, 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Meanwhile whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in a small bowl.
  • Place a fine-mesh strainer over a large heatproof bowl and strain the butter away from the nuts. Set both aside to cool for 30 minutes. Then, chop the nuts coarsely and set aside.
  • While you're waiting, beat the almond butter into the cooled butter, followed by the brown sugar, eggs, egg yolk, and vanilla. Beat until completely smooth, about 1 minute, then stir in the flour mixture. Finish by folding in the nuts and transferring to the prepared pan. The batter will be thick, so I suggest a rubber or silicone spatula.
  • Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until the edges are deeply brown and the top is dry and cracked. Remove from the pan and cool on a rack for about 30 minutes. Slice into squares and devour with plenty of frosty almond milk.
