This was a big hit in the Test Kitchen. From the nuts in the crust to the creaminess in the chocolate layer and the great banana flavor of the top layer, this is delicious!

1/2 c walnuts, crushed
1/2 c butter, softened
1 c flour
2 3.4 ounce boxes chocolate pudding
1 8 oz. package cream cheese, softened
1 c powdered sugar
2 bananas, ripe & mashed
1 container Cool Whip, thawed
1 c Irish cream, cold
2 c milk, cold
1 tsp banana extract

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix the butter, walnuts & flour in a bowl. Press this into a greased pan to form the crust. Bake for 10-20 minutes until golden.
  • 2. Let crust cool. Mix the sugar, softened cream cheese together. Add mashed bananas and one cup of Cool Whip. Whisk or mix this until it is nice & fluffy. Spread this onto the crust when the crust is no longer warm.
  • 3. Then mix Irish cream, milk & pudding packages together. Mix very well so that there are not lumps. Pour this on top of the banana cream cheese mixture. Refrigerate overnight or for at least 8 hours.
  • 4. Mix the rest of the Cool Whip w/the banana extract & put that on top of the chocolate mix. Enjoy!

1 ounce espresso liqueur, such as Grind Espresso Shot Rum Liqueur
1 ounce cinnamon whiskey, such as Fireball
1/2 ounce chocolate syrup
1/2 ounce Mexican chile syrup
1 ounce Irish cream liqueur
1 ounce heavy cream
Dash cinnamon
1 chocolate cigar

Steps:

  • Add the espresso liqueur, cinnamon whiskey, chocolate syrup and chile syrup to a shaker and add ice.
  • Shake until ice cold, for about 30 seconds, and pour into a martini glass.
  • Add the Irish cream liqueur and heavy cream to a new shaker, then add ice and shake for 20 seconds.
  • Pour this slowly on top of the drink so that the cream mixture floats on top.
  • Garnish with the cinnamon and chocolate cigar.
