SLOW COOKER SLOPPY JOES
These classic messy sandwiches are super flavorful and cook up easy in the slow cooker. They're great for feeding a crowd. Be prepared to get asked for the recipe!

Steps:
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown ground beef and onion together until beef is cooked, breaking up beef with a spatula. (Or just use this awesome multi-cooker, where I simply brown the meat right in the cooker!) Drain off fat and transfer to slow cooker. Break up any remaining larger pieces of meat.
- Add all remaining ingredients and stir well. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours. A longer cook time will give a deeper flavor.
- Serve sloppy joes on buns. I like to offer regular size buns and smaller dinner roll size buns. Pickles are a must (I recommend these easy refrigerator pickles), as well as thick ripple potato chips. I personally like to eat sloppy joes without buns, using sturdy potato chips as my "scoops". Pickled red onions are also great with this meal!

HOMEMADE SLOPPY JOES
Steps:
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef, onion and garlic until the meat is no longer pink. Drain.
- Whisk together the remaining ingredients to make the sauce. Add to the skillet with the beef, onion and garlic.
- Simmer uncovered over low heat for 10-15 minutes, stirring regularly, until the mixture reaches desired consistency. You can keep the skillet covered if you like the sauce "sloppier." If the sauce is too thick, gradually stir in a small amount of warm water or beef broth. If the sauce is too thin, gradually sift in a small amount of flour while stirring vigorously to thicken.

- Warm the olive oil in large skillet over medium-high heat, and add the Beyond Beef to the skillet. Break the beef up into small pieces and cook for 10 minutes without moving the pieces around. This will brown the 'beef'. Turn the pieces over using tongs, and continue to cook for another 5 minutes.
- Combine the mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar, salt, celery salt and pepper in a small bowl. Spill the coleslaw mix into a medium bowl, and add enough mayonnaise mixture to your own taste. Toss well.
