NANA'S CUCUMBER SALAD

Nana's Cucumber Salad image

My German grandmother used to make this for every family occasion. She always had some set aside for me to take home.

Number Of Ingredients 6

Ingredients

3 - 4 cucumbers
1 medium onion
mayonnaise or lite mayonnaise
apple cider vinegar
salt and pepper
sugar

Steps:

1. Peel the cucumbers and onion. Slice both very thin. I use a food processor.
2. Blend together the mayo & vinegar. Add salt & pepper to taste. Add sugar to cut the tartness if you would like it a little sweeter.
3. In a large bowl combine everything together. I like to make this a day early so that the cucumbers soak in the flavor of the sauce.
4. Enjoy!
