McDonald's® Tartar Sauce Copycat image

I tweaked this recipe for months until I came up with a very good clone of McDonald's® famous tartar sauce.

½ cup mayonnaise (such as Kraft®)
3 ½ tablespoons dill pickle relish, divided
1 ½ teaspoons capers
2 tablespoons chopped onion, divided
½ teaspoon dried parsley flakes
½ teaspoon white sugar

Steps:

  • Blend mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons relish, capers, 1 tablespoon chopped onion, parsley, and sugar in a blender until smooth. Stir remaining relish and onion into the blended mixture.
  • Transfer sauce to a bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.

Quick and Easy Chili image

This simple recipe might remind you of your favorite canned chili...but it's even better!

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 lb lean ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion ((or 2 Tbsp dried chopped onion))
1 Tbsp chili powder
1.5 tsp cumin
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp minced garlic
1 15 oz can diced tomatoes (Undrained)
1 15 oz can tomato sauce ((You might not use all of it))
2 15 oz cans pinto beans (Drained and rinsed)

Steps:

  • In a soup pot, brown ground beef with onion. Drain fat.
  • Add all other ingredients to pot. Add enough of the tomato sauce for your desired consistency. I normally use about 3/4 of a can.
  • Simmer for at least 30 minutes.
  • Serve with your favorite toppings (sour cream, onion, cheese) OR as a topping for baked potatoes, nachos, or hot dogs!
