The pie filling serves as a base, rather than using a cream base. I have had a lot of people ask me for this recipe. Ingredient amounts are approximate, because with my grandmother, everything is "to taste".

- Mix ingredients together and chill until serving. Coconut or mini marshmallows may be added. Or sprinkle with slivered almonds. Also, apple, apricot, or cherry pie filling can be substituted. Substitute a cup of halved grapes for the cherries.

- Drain pineapples and oranges.
- Mix all ingredients except bananas.
- Refrigerate overnight or several hours.
- Add bananas just before serving.
