MACAROON APPLE COBBLER

Macaroon Apple Cobbler image

Especially when I'm just serving a dessert, I like to prepare this. I'll usually make it with fresh apples, but I've also sometimes used home-canned ones. -Phyllis Hinck, Lake City, Minnesota

GRANDMA'S CORN FLAKE COCONUT MACAROONS

Grandma's Corn Flake Coconut Macaroons image

A fast and easy recipe that is great for mailing to friends and family, festively snowy white, and very tasty with a pleasantly crunchy and chewy texture. This recipe originally comes from my great-grandmother and has been handed down through four generations. My Grandma Sally makes these almost every year for Christmas and it is one of my favorite Christmas cookie recipes. The cookies will be chewy-crunchy when finished cooling, not gooey.

MY GRANDMOTHER'S APPLE MACAROON

My Grandmother's Apple Macaroon image

A apple cinnamon & pecan filling covered by a crispy crust. This is a farovite of mine that I found in my grandmothers recipe book. When I say recipe book I don't mean a store bought one. This was written in her own hand. I do hope you enjoy as much as I do.
