1 package (8 ounces) sliced mushrooms (3 cups)
1 large onion, coarsely chopped (1 cup)
1 jar (24 to 28 ounces) tomato pasta sauce
1/2 cup half-and-half or refrigerated nondairy creamer
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Steps:

  • Cook and drain ravioli as directed on package; keep warm.
  • Spray same saucepan with cooking spray; heat over medium heat. Cook mushrooms and onion in saucepan about 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until onion is crisp-tender.
  • Stir in pasta sauce and half-and-half. Heat to boiling; reduce heat to low. Stir in ravioli, cheese and parsley.

2 9-ounce packages mushroom ravioli
Freshly ground pepper
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 cup frozen peas, thawed
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
Pinch of freshly grated nutmeg
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the ravioli and cook as the label directs. Reserve 1/2 cup of the cooking water, then drain the ravioli.
  • Combine the butter, cream and peas in a large skillet and bring to a simmer over medium heat; cook 1 minute. Add the ravioli, cheese, nutmeg and a splash of the reserved cooking water to the skillet and toss. Add more cooking water to thin the sauce, if needed. Season with salt and pepper. Divide among bowls and top with the parsley.

3 tablespoons butter

1 (10 ounce) container Alfredo sauce

¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes to taste

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add ravioli and cook for 5 to 8 minutes or until al dente; drain.
  • Heat the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Stir in the mushrooms and garlic, and cook until tender.
  • In a medium saucepan over low heat, toss the cooked ravioli with the Alfredo sauce to coat. Mix in the mushrooms and garlic. Cook and stir until sauce is heated. Top with Parmesan cheese, green onion, and red pepper to serve.

9 oz Four cheese ravioli
1/4 lb fresh shrimp
1/4 lb fresh small scallops
1 Tbsp vegetable oil
3 oz fresh spinach
4 oz Shiitake mushrooms
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1/4 cup vegetable broth
1 cup heavy cream
1 large clove of garlic (pressed)
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup fresh grated Parmigiano-Reggiano (more for topping in desired)
Salt
Fresh grated pepper

Steps:

  • Cook ravioli according to package instructions and set aside.
  • In a large cooking pan, heat up oil and add chopped spinach and sliced mushrooms. Saute until spinach cooks down and add minced garlic, some salt and pepper. Saute until garlic is fragrant.
  • Add broth, stir well.
  • Add heavy cream, Worcestershire, pressed garlic, salt and pepper and stir well.
  • Add shrimp and scallops. Cook until shrimp start to turn pink and flip shrimp and scallops.
  • Add ravioli, carefully stir in and cook until shrimp is done.
  • Stir in Parmigiano-Reggiano and cook for another minute.
  • Serve right away.

I would normally make my own sauce & ravioli but I have been rushed, then realized that I had this in the fridge and threw this recipe together. I enjoyed it and hope that you will too.

300 ml alfredo sauce
1 (350 ml) package spinach ravioli, -uncooked
1 cup sliced mushrooms
2 tablespoons dry garlic flakes or 2 fresh garlic cloves, peeled & sliced
160 g lite mozzarella cheese, Grated
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
1/2 cup ketchup or 1/2 cup pizza sauce
3/4 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
salt & pepper

Steps:

  • Lightly grease a 9 x 9 x 3-inch oven proof dish.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Pour enough Alfredo sauce to cover the bottom bottom of the casserole (approx 1/2").
  • Top with a single layer of ravioli, a third of the mushrooms and 1/3 of the mozzarella.
  • Sprinkle with 1/3 of the chili flakes and 1/3 garlic, season with salt & pepper.
  • Repeat layers saving 1/3 of the mozzarella & the parmesan.
  • On the last layer pour in the chili sauce spreading it evenly over the top.
  • Cover the casserole with foil; bake for 45 minutes, remove foil.
  • Top with remaining mozzarella & the parmesan, continue to bake uncovered for approx 15 minutes or until the top is beautifully browned.
  • Rest 10 minutes and serve.

1 pound of lobster ravioli.
4 cups of sliced mushrooms.
1 diced onion.
1 diced garlic clove.
1/2 cup of milk.
1/2 cup of heavy whipped cream.
1/4 cup of white wine.
a dash of Cayenne pepper
salt and black pepper to taste
Parsley or Basil to garnish

Steps:

  • Cook ravioli according to package directions. Take care not to overcook
  • Start the sauce. In a large skillet saute the onion and garlic
  • Once the onion is translucent, add the mushrooms and salt.
  • As soon as the mushrooms start to golden, add the milk, whipping cream, and wine. Let that cook for about 7 minutes.
  • Finally, add the cayenne pepper and pepper. Let the mix cook for a minute.
  • Garnish with parsley or basil and serve

I made a few alterations to Cyn's Wild Mushroom Ravioli, which are AWESOME. I decided to post mine too!

2 cups mushrooms, sliced
1/4 cup butter
1 shallot, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/8 cup white wine
1/2 cup ricotta cheese
1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
1 package wonton wrapper
water
cornmeal
1 cup cream or 1 cup half-and-half
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
salt and pepper

Steps:

  • Saute shallot and mushrooms in butter.
  • Add garlic, white wine, salt and pepper and reduce for a couple of minutes.
  • Cool and add cheeses.
  • Pulse a few times in food processer.
  • Wet edges of one wonton wrapper.
  • Put a spoonful of filling in center and top with another wonton wrapper. If you need alot, make a triangle with one wrapper and you will end up with about 50 ravioli.
  • Press edges together, trying not to allow any air to remain inside ravioli. I sometimes cut with a 3" round cookie cutter, or you can leave it square.
  • Place on tray sprinkled with corn meal and allow to dry for an hour before dropping in boiling salted water.
  • When ravioli floats it is done. Takes about 3 minutes.
  • In the meantime, Heat up Alfredo Sauce ingredients until cheese melts. I also add any remaining mushroom filling to sauce.
  • Serve and enjoy.

½ onion, cut into chunks
4 cloves garlic
4 tablespoons butter, divided
2 tablespoons flour
1 cup half-and-half
¾ cup shredded Italian cheese blend
salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Process mushrooms, onion, and garlic in a blender until mixture is pureed. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook and stir the mushroom paste in the melted butter until smooth.
  • Melt 2 more tablespoons butter in a separate saucepan over medium heat; gradually sprinkle flour into the melted butter, stirring continually. Whisk half-and-half into the flour paste; cook and stir until the sauce is thick and smooth, 4 to 5 minutes. Whisk mushroom mixture into sauce and cook until sauce has thickened a bit more, about 10 minutes. Stir cheese into the sauce; cook until the cheese melts, 2 to 3 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper.

  • Heat the olive oil in a large stainless pan/skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the sliced shallot and cook until fragrant, 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the mushrooms and cook undisturbed for 4-5 minutes or until golden, stir and continue cooking until the mushrooms have caramelized, approx. 3 minutes.
  • Reduce the heat to medium. Add the butter, garlic, thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 30-60 seconds until garlic is fragrant then add the balsamic and pasta water to deglaze the pan. Transfer to a plate.
