PEANUT BUTTER CRISPIES II
My aunt used to make these when I was a little girl. I think they are a nice change from marshmallow treats.

Steps:
- In a medium sauce pan, mix together sugar, peanut butter, and corn syrup. Be careful not to let it burn, or it will ruin the recipe. Stir mixture until well melted. Remove pan from heat.
- Combine warm peanut butter mixture with crisp rice cereal.
- Grease well a 9 x 13 inch pan with butter or margarine. Spread mixture in pan. Allow to cool. When mixture is no longer sticky to the touch, cut into bars.

Steps:
- Melt margarine or butter in large saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.
- Add Rice Krispies cereal and stir until well coated.
- Add in desired amount of peanut butter chips and stir.
- Using buttered spatula or waxed paper, press mixture evenly into a 9x13 coated with cooking spray. Cut into squares when cooled.

- 1. Combine peanut butter, corn syrup, brown sugar and vanilla in a saucepan. Place on low heat and stir until melted and thoroughly combined.
- 2. Remove from heat and stir in Rice Krispies until completely coated with peanut butter mixture.
- 3. Press into a lightly greased 8" square pan. Chill one hour and cut into squares.
