2 squares Baker's Unsweetened Baking Chocolate Squares

Steps:

Mix all together and spread in buttered 8 x 8 x 2 tin. Bake 25 minutes and cut in 2-inch squares while still warm.

3 teaspoons (level) baking powder
1 teaspoon (level) salt

Steps:

Stir cornmeal into 2 cups milk and let mixture come to a boil, making a mush. Add balance of milk and well-beaten eggs. Stir in salt, baking powder, and melted butter. Bake 30 minutes in oven at 350°F.

1 egg
1 tablespoon cream
1/2 teaspoon lemon extract
rind of one lemon, grated
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder

Steps:

Blend together 1/2 cup butter and 1 cup sugar. Add 1 egg and 1 tablespoon cream. Grate rind of lemon and 1/2 teaspoon of lemon flavoring and add to mixture. Add 1-1/2 cups flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1 teaspoon baking powder. Chill for 2 to 3 hours (better when chilled overnight). Roll very thin and cut with dough cutter. Bake 8 to 10 minutes in 375°F oven.
