1 tablespoon vegemite
1 teaspoon butter (only if taste is to strong for you)
2 slices bread
4 slices cheddar cheese

Steps:

lightly toast the bread.
spread with butter if you wish.
spread evenly with vegemite.
top with cheese.
put under the grill until cheese starts to bubble.

I couldn't believe that nobody had posted the recipe for mousetraps when I was looking for cheese on toast variations. Here is the downunder favourite.

Ingredients

4 slices bread, suitable for toasting
yeast extract, eg marmite, vegemite
cheese, eg cheddar

Steps:

Oven grill setting at 400°F.
Toast the bread on both sides under the grill/broiler or alternatively pop them in the toaster to save time.
The former does taste better.
Spread the toast on one side only with a thin layer of the yeast extract.
Arrange on baking tray.
Grate or slice enough cheese to cover the bread well.
Pop under the grill until the cheese is melted.
Remove from oven and cut bread slices into triangles.

1 1/2 ounces dry Palo Cortado sherry
1 ounce bourbon, such as Four Roses Single Barrel Bourbon
1/2 ounce sweet vermouth, such as Dolin
4 dashes cherry bitters
High-quality maraschino cherry, such as Luxardo, for garnish

Steps:

Add the sherry, bourbon, vermouth and bitters to a cocktail shaker, add large ice and stir thoroughly. Taste for balance, then single-strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with a cherry and serve.

Spin the bottle... or can. Posted by Home, Garden & DIY on Wednesday, January 9, 2019. This is one rodent control device I use when I want to conduct a multi-catch effort and I am not going to be around for a little while.
Flip cup plate. Similar to the one above, you need a ramp onto a five gallon bucket for the mice to make their way up to the bait. In this trap, we have swapped out the spinning can for an unbalanced styrofoam plate.
Swinging lid trap. The video below shows another bucket trap idea that I found very interesting, however I took the idea from the first picture and mixed it with this idea to come up with one of my own.
Snap back & trap you. Ok this one is really innovative and gets a sucker with the scratch and sniff sticker. The video below shows an empty bottle, bigger than your average 20-ounce soda bottle and square much like a Fiji water bottle, set up as a rat trap.
Bottle neck'n. The comedy behind this poster makes this a favorite and the best part, the person who wrote it, says it works. Read all the directions on this one, as I can see skipping number six may lead to a tipped over bottle and an escapee!
Wiped clean. Anyone can make this trap just about anywhere. If you have mice problem on your counter tops or just about anywhere with some height, this trap is genius.
Shoebox trap. I came across this video a couple years ago while I was living in Baltimore City, Maryland and for as young as the kid may be or sound, he made one of the most genius rodent traps that worked great for us at our row home rental.
An oldie but a goodie. When I first found this one, I gave it no mind. I then saw this video and decided to investigate it a little further. At first, it looks as if there is just a bowl upside down held up by a curved piece of wood.
