CROCK POT BBQ RIBS
This is my own finger licking good recipe that is a hit every time and you don't even have to fire up the barbie!

Steps:
- Combine rub ingredients mixing well.
- Rub on all sides of ribs.
- Place ribs meaty side up in crock pot.
- Cover; cook on low for 6 hours.
- Drain the grease from the crock.
- Place the ribs back in and cover with bbq sauce.
- Cook for another hour.

- 1. In a bowl, mix together all the ingredients except for the ribs themselves. Place ribs in slow cooker. Pour sauce over ribs, and turn to coat. Cover, and cook on Low 6 to 8 hours, or until ribs are tender.
CROCK POT LOW CARB BBQ BABY BACK RIBS

- Lay the baby back ribs on baking sheets. Set aside.
- Stir together the salt, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, cumin and pepper in a small bowl.
- Spread this dry rub onto both sides of the ribs. Set aside.
- Add the water, vinegar, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and maple extract into the crock pot and stir until combined.
- In a small bowl stir together the salt, cocoa powder and stevia.
- Whisk this into the crock pot then add the ribs on top of the sauce.
- Cover and cook on low 10-12 hours or until meat is falling off the bones. During the last 2 hours of cooking coat the ribs with some of the sauce.
- Coat the ribs with the rest of the barbecue sauce before serving.

MOM'S EASY CROCK POT BBQ RIBS
This is how my mom always made BBQ ribs, and it can't get any easier. This method keeps the sauce nice & thick. I'm posting it here mainly to see what the nutritional information is.

Steps:
- Place ribs in crock pot and season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook on low all day-- 6-8 hours.
- About an hour before supper time, drain all the liquid from the pot. Return ribs to pot and pour in the BBQ sauce. Simmer on low another hour.
- Serve and enjoy!

- Put rack of ribs in large slow cooker. (we remove the membrane first to make them even more tender but that is up to you)
- Add enough apple juice so the ribs are as submerged as possible. Put on low and cook for 6-8 hours.
- Carefully take out (they will be ready to fall apart) and lay on cookie sheet. Put in oven at 300 degrees for about 20 minutes or until it turns lightly crisp/browned on top of ribs.
- *** If you choose to make our dry rub above combine your brown sugar, salt and garlic salt in a bowl and spread evenly on top of your ribs, pat down....then put them in the oven or under your broiler for 3-5 minutes to crisp up. Alternatively you can just brown on bbq sauce before crisping up.

- In a small bowl, stir together brown sugar, chili powder, salt, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Set aside.
- Prepare the ribs by removing the shiny, thin membrane that covers most of the backside of the ribs. To do so, use a knife or fingernail to pry up a corner of the thin membrane from one edge of the ribs. Grab that with a paper towel (for grip) and slowly pull it up. Once a good portion of the membrane is free, you should be able to pull the rest off in one quick motion.
- Pat the ribs dry and rub the seasoning mixture onto both sides of the ribs. Place ribs in slow cooker.
