MOMMY'S LEMONADE (MARGARITAS)



Mommy's Lemonade (Margaritas) image

This is the recipe that I use for all of our get-togethers that is so quick and easy and always gets rave reviews. Enjoy!

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 (12 fluid ounce) can frozen limeade concentrate (such as Minute Maid®), thawed
3 (12 fluid ounce) cans cold water
1 (12 fluid ounce) can tequila (such as Cuervo® Especial)
½ (12 fluid ounce) can brandy-based orange liqueur (such as Grand Marnier®)
ice cubes
1 pinch kosher salt for rimming glasses
1 lime, cut into wedges

Steps:

  • Pour the limeade concentrate into a pitcher, and fill the can with cold water. Pour into the pitcher; repeat twice more (3 cans of water). Fill the can with tequila, and pour into the pitcher; fill half the can with orange liqueur, and pour into the pitcher. Stir well, chill thoroughly, and serve over ice in salt-rimmed glasses with a lime wedge.

Wait until you try this Lemonade Mango Margarita. With such a great twist on a traditional margarita, this recipe calls for tequila, hard lemonade, and a combination of mango and jalapenos. Sweet, tangy and spicy, this is a delicious margarita recipe.

1 oz Tequila
1/2 tsp. Lime juice
Mikes hard lemonade
Ice
1 sliced jalapeno (2-3 per glass)
Mango wedge for garnish
Lime wheel for garnish
Margarita salt
Simple syrup

Steps:

  • In a cocktail shaker add 2-3 pieces of ice, Tequila, lime juice, and jalapeños.
  • Shake well in to infuse flavors.
  • Pour your mikes hard lemonade into your salt rimmed glass 3/4 of the way full.
  • Top with your tequila mix
  • Garnish
  • ENJOY

  • To make one drink: rub glass with lemon slice, then dip glass in sugar or salt. Mix tequila, triple sec, and lemonade in a glass with ice. Add more lemonade if the drink is too strong as written. Garnish with lemon.
  • To make a pitcher: mix all ingredients in a large pitcher. Add more or less lemonade to make this stronger or weaker. Add lemon slices for garnish. To serve, rim glasses with sugar or salt (run a lemon slice around the glass then dip in salt or sugar). Serve over ice.
