A friend of mine in an online game passed me this recipe and it is soo good and delicious the kids ask me to make them nearly every day! I always wind up having to make a double batch otherwise they'd all be gone in a day!!

Number Of Ingredients 9

Ingredients

1/2 c oil, butter or margarine (imperial stick margarine seems to work best but let it soften!!!)
1 c sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 c all purpose flour
1/3 c unsweet cocoa
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 c nuts (optional)

Steps:

1. Preheat Oven 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x9 pan. I usually use the butter/margarine wrapper for this. DO NOT FLOUR THE PAN.
2. Cream together oil/butter, sugar, vanilla and eggs.
3. Slowly add in flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt and mix til well blended and smooth.
4. Spread evenly in pan and let bake for 20-25 minutes or until edges pull apart from pan. Cool on wire rack before cutting into squares.
5. NOTES FOR TOASTER OVEN COOKING!! Same oven temperature of 350 degrees F BUT it takes around 40-50 minutes to finish cooking!
