200 g Baby Spinach
5 fresh mint leaves
2 bananas
1 cup rice milk
1 teaspoon organic honey
3 tablespoons Greek yogurt

Steps:

  • Blend bananas, rice milk, yoghurt and honey until all are well mixed. Add the spinach and mint leaves and blend until smooth. Adjust with more or less rice milk depending on how thick you would like the smoothie to be.
  • Decorate with a few extra mint leaves on top and break a pecan nut into small pieces, sprinkling it over for added flavour!

1 cup fresh spinach, or more to taste
½ banana
½ avocado
1 kiwi, peeled and ends removed
1 lemon, juiced
10 mint leaves
6 raw almonds
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1 teaspoon flax seeds
1 cup cold water, or as needed to cover
3 ice cubes

Steps:

  • Combine spinach, banana, avocado, kiwi, lemon juice, mint, almonds, maple syrup, and flax seeds in a blender. Add enough water to almost cover ingredients; blend until smooth. Add ice and blend thoroughly.

An ultra dreamy chocolate chip mint smoothie-- the sweetness and richness of the coconut milk allows the base of this smoothie to be mostly spinach, while still being very indulgent! A healthy green smoothie that tastes like a milkshake.

1/2 cup coconut milk (full fat, canned)
1/2 cup Greek yogurt (or plain greek yogurt)
2 bananas (chopped and frozen)
4 cups spinach (fresh or frozen)
6 ice cubes
20 grams whey protein (unsweetened/unflavored - or use your favorite protein powder)
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2-1 teaspoon peppermint extract (peppermint extracts vary in intensity - so start small!)
2 tablespoons 85% dark chocolate (chopped, or sub dark chocolate chips)

Steps:

  • Add the liquid ingredients first, followed by the rest of the smoothie ingredients, leaving out the chocolate chips. Process until very smooth and creamy, and the spinach is fully incorporated.
  • Add the chocolate, and pulse 5-6 times until the chocolate is broken up, but still in chunks.
  • Top with more chocolate chips, and enjoy while it's thick.
